If Cryptic hired you to make MW toys I would buy every single one of them. How do you make the models if I may ask because I have been wanting to get into building my own mech toys as well?

Archer was one of my favorites. I have an original plastic model from the 3rd edition Board Game (which I still have put away). I also have the original Tyco mech toy series, the Joyride studio series, and some of the old Exosquad. I wish I had got the Archer 7" version. These models are probably some of the best ever. As of today I am starting the paperwork to make you the modeling god.

Yeah it was one of my favourites too,
I remember seeing this is the original rules of warfare book

To me this was Battletech in its best form, and of course Morgan Kell made it famous in the Phantom mech incident

What a rich and wonderful genre BT is

LOL Back in the late 80's early 90's a bunch of us lads rented a semi detached house.
We all lived on the one side and the other we converted to a massive city scape running the entire length of the floorplan.

We ran massive months long campaigns in this scale there.

Fascinating bit of trivia the Saladin hover tanks are used in the same way as the Aerospace fighters

Quote

With a top speed of 130 kph and sporting a Scarborough Original 20 Autocannon/20 it is by far the fastest land vehicle to mount such a devastating weapon. Unlike other vehicle that have a turret, the tactics for using the Saladin are different. They're best used to make passing runs like AeroSpace Fighters: rush toward the enemy, close in and fire, then continue past and turn back for another run. Therefore the armor layout is different - the majority of the Saladin's armor is located at the front, while the vehicle's sides and rear are left comparatively vulnerable

In CBT i would run the Locust the same way as the Saladins and Aerospace assets.

Charge in, a run of 12 Hex's , shoot and keep going. Once i was out of range i would turn the units and repeat.

There were times it took a roll of 13 on two D6 to hit me.

Screw me because I am resurrecting this thread... but I don't care because these mechs are more attractive than humans.
