Maybe this Mech wont kill anything, when it gets hit by a Double Gauss + PPC Alpha from 700m distance.

You will see a "critical damage" only a few seconds after the match has started...

But this also can be fun !

Try to survive as long as you can.

CASE does not work with XL. I'm not sure why this was made a Champion mech unless CASE is being reworked/refactored.

Ok, so, yes you're right that it doesn't do anything for you RIGHT NOW. But, what this does is SAVE the rest of your mech from damage when your ammo explodes. This makes it CHEAPER to repair your 'mech, which is coming with Community Warfare. So yes, RIGHT NOW, it does nothing but it WILL DO something, someday.

So you think it's a good idea to gimp new players 1/2 a ton on a maybe-someday? (Nevermind the other mistakes in this build)

Also, it's a trial mech, whatever form R&R takes (if it ever takes any, sorry, I don't buy it), I suspect that not having repair costs will be one of the main benefits of trial mechs.

There is literally no proof that R&R will be reinstated in some form.

i misread it at first. thought it was a hero (forgot about golden boy for some reason) and looked at the loadout and thought "hmm looks just like a KTO 18". then i figured out why....

umm....new players don't need to be using 5xLRM5, its just going to be bad for them. Should have gone with multiple streaks and a couple large lasers instead, or maybe something with regular SRMs.

Be that as it may, a 5x5 is a reasonable use of the KTO-18. This just happens to be an awful example.

And seriously, the Champion builds have been just so ridiculous over the last few months. XL Stalker, one JJ builds as JJs get nerfed and MPLs everywhere... It's baffling and frustrating.

I get the feeling that the guys designing loadouts for Champion mechs aren't communicating with the feature design team. Case in point, the 1JJ mech in a patch that nerfs jump jets.

Why does this Champion mech get its own custom camo anyway?

None of the others do...

I like the Kintaro. Not everybody use it. Its like an unique. 3x SRM6 / 2x SRM4 / 2x Medium-Laser - nice brawler

If you get 2xGauss+PPC from 700m you're bad brawler. Just use terrain, teammates like Atlas, come closer and have fun. Hit and hide, Seismic+Radar deprivation.
