When are we gonna get info on the weekend of the 15th clan matchup event. Is it gonna be teams or are you gonna set up Private match pug ups for those interested in participating outside of teams?

Cause it sounds interesting and I can spend some time on it saturday morning, and possibly sunday morning as well.

I've got a question which is quite important to our unit. If we register as mercs in August, will we be able to "convert" ourselves to being a house unit later on?

personly dont like the star background... will consider it a grafic bug from taking picture. hope it will be removed or fixed for releace.

Oh come on. Was it released with 44 maps? No, a year after beta they had what, 15 maps in rotation? And some of them were terrible. Wargaming has done a lot of things "better" than PGI, but comparing MWO to present day WoT is not really constructive.

Will we be able to change our pilot names? Our unit placed tags in our names already and would likely prefer to modify them to avoid duplicates.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad there is a way to have a unit in the game. I already knew there would be sales every week, I judge on what's been done before, and there you are pretty consistent. This looks like the "Stack up those points for new faction rewards and ranks!" direction I was fearing. Sorry if I'm not excited, but you have 7 pages of people that are excited that mechs are being released, and that there is a map graphic, so you've got that. These are good foundations for the actual CW that you will make after this, I will pretend.

We've been asking over and over but are you going to allow custom house units to create a in house merc unit or will we be just stuck with the regular house units?

You know, being bitter just got a bit more difficult. As someone who posts allot of negative comments on these boards I figure it's only fair to say "**** yeah!!" when things I've been clamoring about for the past half year start to go my/our way. Nice update, good to know roughly what's going on over the next month.

Looking forward to the bare bones of CW phase 1. I'm hoping the unit chat channels as outlined in Paul's post turn up in some usable form and not buried in the UI as far down as the private messages are now.

Think IRC style always visible, click and type chat box in the bottom right or left of the UI whilst not in a match, on that note a faction chat channel would also be good. Chat channels need to be toggle-able on an individual basis though.

I didn't see it in the June notes, or in this latest update so I'm hoping this is just an oversight. Please go back to the original idea of having some kind of cost to create a unit, preferably a steep c-bill cost, but a small MC charge wouldn't be out of the question.
I really think you guys had a good idea where....I can't remember the number, but somewhere around 5 founding members had to poney up 16 million c-bills each.
Please put in some kind of control to limit the mayhem a bit.

There is a button allowing you to rename ranks. Look again.

Also of concern is the people who get first crack at names and lay claim to the tags to existing units (non Battletech Lore) like someone else goes out and grabs 228th or SJR before they can...


PGI have had a project running off and on in the background for 3 years? about this. Units that have been around for a while have unit leaders that should be in communication with them. If they haven't, they need to PM Niko quick smart.

My old unit had a leadership team that got to visit PGI for alpha testing occasionally (Clan playtesting... 12 months before they even announced them publicly... *drools*)

We need more than 4 characters for unit names and alternative separators.
Our units tag is [ASE**] in every game we play as community, and we would like to keep it that way.
