Everything else: Nerf/Nerf/Nerf/Nerf.
Yet again the 27% of the community Who Paul quote: ("Are the experts!") Are now making the weapon changes recommendations.
While the 73% of the community that plays in public matches get no say.

These are the same people who feel we need 7 Battlemasters in the game when you only have to pokeamon master 3.

A bit much? The CCERLL with this change will take 1.6 seconds to deal the same damage as a ISERLL does in 1 second on top of major heat gain from firing two, all for just more range which simply helped spread damage more.
Also PPCs had similar speed and simialr heat before and were useless, dropped from most builds.

6 months gone. 5 matches played today with the spider. Thats my post-reset stats in 7 public games.
and now you are going to put the PPC right back where it was in pre-closed beta - 800m/s, and jumpjets are only good for hovering, not jumping or being mobile like in tabletop.
The game just gets worse and more convoluted every single patch.
my FPS dipped below 30 to 20 FPS multiple times today.
the ui is still a nightmare, I spent 15 minutes of an hour gaming today in MWO just equipping modules on 1 single chassis.
Hanging out with my friends was fun. Sadly, playing this game is not. Same stale gameplay we've seen for 3 years.
Please don't lie about listening to competitive players. There's an entire echo chamber island of competitive gamers & mechwarriors laughing at you right now.

2.0 second beam duration? Really??? wow...so this is now effectively a long range IS ML. You will not be able to get more than ~1 sec or so on a target...this is completely borked....

I've never thought of PPCs as a useless trash weapon, closed beta had completely different issues, host state rewind wasn't even a thing back then. People tend to forget that hit registration was a completely different monster that has seen steady improvement over time. As hitting what you're aiming at has become more consistant the effectiveness of PPCs has gone through the roof. There use to be invincible light mechs but PPCs have always done well against larger mechs.

PPC changes are meh, effects much more than just the problem they were trying to address, and that's why I think it's BS. ANY build that ran a PPC and was semi-effective has been nerfed. Lame
