In starsiege, when you lost a leg you instantly fell and died. That makes more sense to me.

Personally i think all LRM sizes should have a flat 15 second cooldown to stop the bullshit LRM rains we get now.
An LRM boat caught in the open should not be able to burn down an Assault throwing PPCs at its face before the PPCs kill the LRM boat.
On that note, get rid of the ridiculous smokescreen effect unless the missile hits the cockpit.
And reduce the ammo per ton. I should not be able to carry enough Missiles on my A1 to core every 'Mech on the enemy team.

Oh and ontopic, yes, the speed cut when legged needs to stop. There isn't any need for it

I fully agree its complete idiocy same as the identical max cap for all weight classes.

as someone said a few posts above i also complained about this long ago...LRM5s you say? you can get scratched by a ML 400m away and slow you down. Getting legged=death 95% of the times. its a feature that serves no purpose (we already have the 40kph cap) other than reducing your already pretty low chances of survival when legged. It needs to go.

Remember when I beta there was knockdown effect - in PUG battles at start at least 2 mechs would be knocked down by allies...
There was stunlocking by knocking down over and over - you couldn't do anything.

actually all they need to do is remove the linked targeting without special equipment. If you dont have BAP, Narc, Tag, targeting comp or something you shouldnt be able to get your allies target info for amissles lock, to target them for location is fine, but being able to rain missles down is just too much.
