Got my 20 kills in a triple ac2 SHD-2H(C), much fun was had.

The whole event was good. Was really nice to see people pulling out the mechs you don't see much, like Quickdraws, Trebs, Awesomes. Made matches really fun.

I hope to see more of these events.

As a scientist I'm not really all that impressed by the graph without seeing the source or the original data.
The graph indicates that the Federated Suns field more Atlas Assault'Mechs in 3039, but Sarna indicates that the Federated Suns lost the capacity to produce their Atlas AS7-S during the FedCom Civil War (FCCW 3062-3067), while the Lyran Alliance and the Draconis Combine continued to introduce and produce their own variants.

Yes I know the FCCW hasn't happened yet (super excited to get more 'Mechs from that era), but it's also not 3039 anymore. At the very least it is 3050 with the onset of the Clan Invasion.

Either PGI is using stats from Clan Invasion era (which I don't have the data for) or they are ignoring overall total stats as the Lyran Alliance & Draconis Combine took the lead in Atlas production after the FCCW. So I guess it really depends on what you want to look at? Overall statistics, or era specific statistics. If the latter then neither of us have a compelling argument.


I'm also VERY confused why a member of House Steiner would be arguing against the inclusion of one of the most famous Assault'Mechs in BattleTech history, while a member of House Davion is attempting to support such a claim... You know what screw it, you're right! Nope, from now on House Davion lays claim to any Atlas sales in the future!

Wow... I was gonna complain about not getting an email regarding this event, and missing the chance for a free bay entirely, but after reading all the posts I'm kind of glad I skipped all the headache, and did other things aside from grinding matches all weekend...

And me Kurita loyalist? Well, I'm still amazed the Stalker makes up 35% of the Assault 'Mechs in the periphery and makes up at least 10% of the Assaults of every mayor House.

So, you know... Don't mind me I suppose.

Odanan posted it in another thread. I don't know where the data is from, but it does match up with the 'Mech TOEs that show up in MegaMekNET and MekWars Legends. The Atlas is, in the tabletop game and in the books that I've read, not the quintessential Lyran 'Mech. I think it just happens to be the most notable Assault 'Mech, and House Steiner is most noted for a tendency to favor heavier equipment.

I have completed the challenge succesfully but I dont see any new mechbay...is there a way to activate it?

You should have recieved a notfication that your acievement rewards have been transferred to the account. Usually takes 15-20 minutes after the match of the last kill to arrive. If your profile confirms the completition of the challenge and you have not yet recieved the 'Mechbay you should write a ticket to support.

Great event - always enjoy a free mech bay. But of course event dominated by Assaults.

Question for DEVs:
Can you make a temporary adjustment to the 3/3/3/3 matchmaking?
If yes here is a suggestion:

Medium Madness Weekend Event where you drop at 3/6/2/1, a great way to make these events more interesting. Hell make a event featuring every weight class.

Fear upon the mighty shadowhawk poptarts descending upon us, for they will hug their ridges so hart the butthurt can be felt in outer space... when I flank them in my Centurion.
