Oh My Gangerlies :....
So was a little bored with mwo and trawled around for some other f2p games .... Enough to say ... I am back again ... The other top f2p titles are utter tripe ... don't bother with Hawken, Planet side or warface ... they are simply horrid .... the new Quake is OK ... But ... oh my the players ... lol

NO don't take my word for it ... down load ... play and then realise just how good this game is .... The flaws in mwo seem so So small now .....

Planetside 2 is great. It has beautiful environments, rewards team play, and has an actual metagame.

Path of Exile is great if you like D2 clones, puts out new content *constantly* and is extremely anti-p2w.

MWO doesn't really hold up.

I love warthunder as an alternative to this. Taking a Kittyhawk out as low and fast as you can through city streets and under bridges following rivers is such a blast!

I don't waste my time with other F2P games; MWO is hands-down the best in its genre — even with all its warts.

They are releasing a new "mini-expansion" in August. And honestly, PoE is 100x the game Diablo 3 could ever be.

Yeah, their "mini-expansions" put out more content than some expansions you have to pay $20-$60 bucks for.

Warthunder is pretty awesome especially Ground Forces. Good arcade more and a fairly decent simulation in historical or realistic mode. Matches are alot more fun to and actual require alot more thought and effort. If it had Giant, Stompy robots it would be great (kind of tired of tanks after more than 3 years with WoTs). Air Forces part is great for those who like flight sims.

WoTs is still damn good as well though a bit grindy (more than a bit).

Both are really better than MWO but they aren't battletech and that is the only reason why I think I keep coming back and getting suckered in giving PGI more money. I am just a hardcore battletech fan that has been goofing off with the IP for about 30 years.

The mechanized armored combat genre. There many in the genre, and MWO is the best.

In my opinion, of course...which is all that matters when I'm choosing a game to play.

It just shows that I was wrong for ever thinking PGI gave two sh*ts about anything we have to say in feedback. These forums? They aren't for feedback. They're for socializing with other players. PGI could care less what gets posted in here. They don't even care what's posted when they specifically ask for feedback.

So the two f2p that exist in the genre (hawken and MWO)? I can tell you right now, that even though I have more fun in this game, both Warthunder and World of tanks are better games.
