I tried to get used to it, but it's almost comical how long it is now.

I'm hating the nerf, personally, but I've adapted.
I used to run 2xCERLL and 4xCERML and a TC4 on my TW. I lost the CERLLs and put in a single CERPPC and upgraded the TC to a 7. Speed is close to what it was before the nerf and it eats internals fast.

If you can kill a clanner in IS mech it only means that your opponent is a terrible player, not that your are a good one.

You can call it whatever you want to call it but it doesn't change the fact that I have several IS mechs totally out performing my Timber Wolf which is supposedly the most OPed Clan mech. I do well in my Timber Wolf but it isn't a dominating mech that smashes flat the competition by any means.
However, you too will finally be able to understand this when they release for C-bills.
The ironic thing is those same people screaming P2W and taking satisfacton right now because the resent some people were able to get immediate access to them, will be screaming how under powered clans are when they finally release (as PGI continues to nerf them to oblivion that is).

Bad move, especially with the other game breaking issues that are getting worse. I'm hitting my teammates more because the CERLL is still firing by the time everyone starts moving.
Take the suggestions of the community and reduce burn time.

2 second beam duration is a pathetic joke.
That blanket statement is an indication of 2 dimensional thinking.
Now show us on the Doll where the bad Clan Mech touched you.
