Well, as they say in High School: "Friends don't let friends play football". Be very careful if you want to buy this mech. It has severe hard point limitations which have been exacerbated by the recent nerfs to clan erLL and er PPC (old builds for prime cerPPC and Lbx20, D could take up to 4 cerLL, much less effective now). I think leveling the prime and D version now would be a huge pain. Likely skill in GAUSS would be required and then boat 4-5 erML. The B with multiple missile hardpoints will be OK but still "less good" than the Stormcrow!

True story, I bought my son the clan summoner pack for his birthday..(Kit, Nova and Summoner). He still prefers to play his Jaegers or Highlanders than those clan mechs...

Hi all!

Yes there was a issue with the sale we put up today and the Summoner was made available for C-bills for a short time.
We have addressed the issue and this won't happen moving forward!
For those of you lucky enough to snag the Summoner for C-bills early Congrats

I haven't even basic'd my Summoners, but 4x cERML in the arms and 2x cUAC5s in the torso has worked pretty well for me, in my testing. IMO you really have to mix and match the three variants Omnipods to get the best builds. The Summoner D is the only one that has good a good mix hardpoints on it's own.

I might just run the above build on all three.

missile boat or ac boat plays a decent roll. Only thing that bugs me is being forced to carry JJ's now that they are detrimental to hot maps. Please make clan JJ's removable!

Take any IS Heavy stock, then add in the cost of upgrading to an XL engine, DHS, and Endosteel, and you'll be in the neighborhood anyway. Not too surprising.

If you notice the pricing on clan mechs for MC, spending any on them is just plain stupid right now. After the packages are no longer there you will have no other choice.

for example, to buy all 3 summoners (while on the 15% off flash sale) it will cost you 14,079 MC. which if you had 250ish MC laying around you could but the $49.99 MC package to buy them.
OR you could order them "A La Carte" for $55.
once the sale ends the second option will be an even better deal. and that is for a 70 ton mech, anything heavier will be even farther skewed.

so DO NOT purchase any clan mechs with MC, it is a terrible deal. just order them A La Carte while you still can if you want them before they are available for c-bills.
