2MGs, 2ML, NARC, JJs, and an XL265 - just shy of max speed.
Maybe 1 less jumpjet to add more ammo or max the engine....
ANANSI
i really think that for NARC style playing Raven is better - ecm+2 erLrg lazers+ narc...

The raven is an excellent mech for narcing, but I think the anansi can do a good job in the role as well. The jumpjets let you get into some of those awkward places the raven can't. Also, if you are running mlas & mg's you are already planning on getting into good positions to deliver the narc. I guess ultimately If your goal is to be a narc'er, narcier, narc'isist (?) run the raven. But if you are looking for various ways of running the anansi there is nothing wrong with using the narc on it. I have run a similar build and had no trouble delivering the narcs, I just didn't have anyone on my team running lrm's but that is the risk you take in pugs.

As for the fast lrm light any of the missile jenners will do just fine. My sarahs jenner is 150kph 4ml lrm10 right now.

XL240
2 MLs
2 MGs
SRM4+ Artemis
3 JJs
have 1 ton left over for....I don't know what. AMS with 1/2 ton ammo doesn't seem worth it.
On the narc topic.
Ravel 3L is by far the best out of everything I tried over the weekend. It was a monster point grabber more so than all the others. I was getting like 60+ points in a round with it.

I would add 2 jj with your extra ton. More jj = jumping higher, quicker = less time actually in the air. Especially if you haven't used jj much since they reworked them. It made loading up on jj's really with it in my opinion.
And I can imagine the raven 3l was great in this challenge. I was away all weekend and I only pug anyway but that was the first mech that came to mind when I saw the challenge.

trying all sorts of weird stuff
2 LL
2 MPL + Narc
2 ML + Narc + BAP
So far I am sadly not very impressed although after going back to all my other spiders and am finding I dislike them all and I didn't used to. Just so hardpoint limited.
really wish there was a good way to get 2 LPL on this thing but can't really do this.

Looking back at it now, 60 matches, 45 kills/35 deaths and I love it to bits and that includes that hour or so period in the lance challange where I really did try to use it as a narc/tag platform but tag,narc,2mg,1ml was just too little firepower for my tastes and I still think the 3L does it better with more firepower.
And for anyone that thinks a spider makes a great hit and run narc platform I still think a locust with a little skill can do it better http://mwo.smurfy-ne...07dc4deb4ba1384

i tend to use artemis with SRMs if I can especially with the 4s and 6s as I find that the tighter grouping is very noticeable.
