I know everyone is going to rant and rave that this is just trolling( NOT INTENTIONAL) but I think that some kind of anti-hack feature should be active. I know that most if not all of the free to play games through Steam and Origin have this. From time to time I see some really fishy scenarios taking place during game play. I have seen this blown off as HSR problems, lag, and other excuses, even blaming it on the code but when I experience these things I don't think it just these players are that great. I have seen teams that seemed to know exactly where the other players were and what they were running, it's like they dropped way ahead of you and were already set up for the kill, mech's on their teams(sometimes the whole team) taking unreasonable amounts of damage.

Greetings,

As a note here there is a log file created at each match that lists what elements are being called and what art assets to load and render.
- The full Mech chassis listing is in there, for both teams. (just saying)
- I don't know if this is accessible during a match, but it's created.

Reference checking for 'fishy' behavior. I don't know of too many required programs that can check the players files before letting them into a match and not be detrimental to 'waiting time' for normal gameplay. Or can not be outright 'hacked' through.

- If you suspect something then the only option is to submit a report with as much info as possible.
- This brings a possible flag to a pilot or pilots for future reference.
- This also allows PGI to at least locate the match in there records, if it's deemed repeated from any specific players.
- It's there (PGI's) action from then on.
Beyond that there's not much that can currently be done.

Checking file integrity is a simplistic and quick process.

Just because you don't know them, doesn't mean there aren't any protection features! One of the best ways to protect your game, is not telling the hacker side, what kind of protection you are using.

The game is mostly server authorized. You can manipulate your game files all you want, you wont be able to change the values of your mechs or weapons in the actual game, as the server is calculating those for you. Based on what he knows, not on what the client is telling him.

Still, if you believe someone is hacking the game, send a report to support@mwomercs.com, with as many informations as you can provide. Those information can include, but are not limited to:
- Name of the hacking player
- Type of cheat / exploit
- Map played
- Date, time and timezone for the match you witnessed the behavior in
- Other players involved (witnesses)
- Screenshots
- Links to videos or other media that might help the GMs and later the developers to stop the cheat / exploit.
