Normally I'd be with you in this train of thought, Sarlic, but none of the threads you are drawing attention to were created by PGI themselves to state that they're aware of the lag, are working on a solution, etc. If anything, that is the reason we're seeing multiple threads pointing out the obvious, and they're probably being created out of frustration. I know of one post that has come from PGI on the subject here on the forums, but it is buried in one of the threads discussing the spikes. While PGI has been more active on other media sources such as Twitter when it comes to the lag issues, they have been strangely silent on their own official forums... but that is nothing new, really.

It is just getting more and more ridiculous.
Yesterday, I got lagged after about 80 seconds in the first game I tried to play....I did not play any further games that day.
Today I tried to play and....*huzzah* I got to walk across Mordor until 99 seconds into the game...got lagged...at some time I *awoke* again to face 1 assault and 2 heavies shooting down my mech....which took about 5 seconds.
What does PGI expect me to learn from this experience....and their lack of response and communication on multiple of similiar threads.
I do learn from it....this game is not playable at the moment.
I do learn from it....PGI does not communicate with the costumer
I do learn from it....it is more important to announce new mechs (for sale) and therefor work on new mechs than working on the game itself to provide an acceptable gaming environment
I do learn from it not to spend any more money on a game I cannot play
I do not learn from it... to trust in PGI that they can provide a working gaming environment
I do not learn from it... to trust PGI to be able to make even simple priority decisions
I do not learn from it... that PGI actually care about the game and its costumers...
I ask....does anybody believe that this will have a good end...that PGI will be able to provide a good game where you think the money you spend is worth it.
In my opinion, PGI should ask themselves exactly those questions...and they should for sure greatly improve the way of communication (no twitter stuff...THIS is the official forum) and take and live the important decision. (Game/system environment has to work before working on new Mechs...)
Sadly I will not play today anymore as my first game today was just frustration (as the last days) and I do not want to spend my leisure time being frustrated and even having to pay for it.

Well, there should be multiple threads, because obviously they only focus on fixing things that get dozens of threads. A single thread about rubberbanding and server issues isn't going to get any attention, whereas they'll see the 4-5 threads about ____ (insert clan thingy here) and immediately start contemplating the next over the top nerf.

Sign me in for this too.
I've been pinging like an idiot all sorts of stuff during the last week, cause I got paranoid about my imba internet connection.
I bought a new router.
I did lots of pointless crap and this aint changing one bit.
Two things:
1) TWITTER IS NOT YOUR FRIGGIN WAY TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH YOUR COMMUNITY PGI! - even though it is somewhat a quick and popular... You created those forums no? I for one will never ever accept this kinda stuff as official source for info.
"We posted it on facebook!", "It's in a twitter discussion!". No.
2) Even if there are some server... changes... DO IT ON ANOTHER FRIGGIN PC, TEST IT, PUT THE WHOLE GAME IN MAINTENANCE STATE --> UPDATE. That's how the ordinary common folk from any technical staff do.
Both ways - it's still an abscence of official statement.
Just for a moment - humour me, I know it may sounds extremly stupid and stuff - think about how much community "whining", "complaining", topic(like this) creation, pressure(both in your and in our way) would a simple two line statement like this:
"
We're currently experiencing some server/provider/connectivity issues.
We're aware of the problems and we're working on it!
"
would have saved you?
Yea I know - I am a mad man and stuff.

Just came out of a game where I stood in place for 30 seconds then warped 800m. It's really bad, and PGI needs to get their act together!
