Well the sdr-5v was on the list of approved mechs if you were looking for a more challenging challenge.

Yup, still counting on the morning of the 18th, which I am glad for, since I didn't get a chance to do this earlier. Can probably chock it down to the counter being set the same as for the tournament, or another [typo] on the graphic for the event.

Pretty sure I was in a match with a guy piloting that who didn't know how to move his mech, so you cannot possibly be "that guy" after witnessing that.

Haha, well I am not a great pilot but I did manage to stay in the 250-500 damage range most of the time. And in my defense 20 or so of my points were in my spider 5v.

On difficulty... due to time constraints and bad luck, I failed the Steiner version totally, scoring a mindblowing 0% kills for that... This time, I got 2 kills and 94 assists before successful finish (5 assists in the last game, at 99% before it), with 6 or 7 games granting me a flat 0 points. In other words, I am happy the challenge is actually doable even for someone like me, who has very variable luck. My best couple of games netted me 7 assists each, but most were not nearly as great in terms of results, though I did get several good laughs out of various player made jokes along the way.

The Stalker 5S and the Atlas DDC are not on the list of mechs that count towards the challenge, so only your Raven 3L contributions were counted. Read the first post in this thread.

Well, now I got 4 open MechBays, if another 2 House challenges comes up over the next couple of weekends, I will not have the decision problem I once posted of choosing between Thunderbolts (got 1 9S) and Centurions (got 1 A{C}), there will be enough room for all CB variants of both plus one extra bay leftover since there should be 3 more of these Challenges.

My friends and I have jobs, errands, families, etc that we must attend to on the weekends in addition to working weekdays. A big thank you from those of us not lucky enough to get the challenge done in the 1st five matches, or with enough free-time to grind all weekend!

If you can't manage to play 10 - 15 games (at the absolute most!) over a four day period, how is that someone else's fault? The challenge is there to be completed; if you can't manage to do it, why come onto the forums and whine about your failure?
