First I'd like to say im completely envious you have a clan pack. :unsure:

It says 4pm is the start of its "business day". Now we all know there is no available injection today because of urbanmech.......so your going to have several hours AFTER Monday 4pm. But I think that might be Canadian holiday so the injection will be postponed for Tuesday. But Tuesday because of a vindicator release special......all previous injections will be delayed.....because of the community warfares..... :rolleyes:

Well, no need to be envious fellow gamer, i dont even have em yet :rolleyes:

Thank you for your feedback. I admit i dont keep track of MWO news so maybe the events you mentioned have held back the delivery as well. Looks like i'll be playing the waiting game :P

Difference is you pre-ordered knowing when to expect them and they delivered.

I pre-ordered knowing when to expect them and they never showed.

Whats worse getting a crap mech because they made it that way or waiting few days? Unless you bought a nova and summoner? If so thsy should give you a timber for free lol.

Damn you for getting my hopes up! I actually checked the announcements section lol.

Also, I thought the legalese on the Clan stuff said it would be done by the NEXT business day's injection time? I mean, sure, I got my Kit Fox pack the same day, but I was expecting it to be available a day later.

You can't sue a company for missing a delivery date and cite false advertising.
Online distributors like Amazon and Newegg wouldn't even exist because the "I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT" generation would have sued them to death.
Yes they're injected daily, but to my understanding it's the next business day.
Much the same way that
If you wanna get all nitpicky:
The product was what was being advertised not the delivery method.
Despite what you say this was an investigative post op, if you were truely trying to reach a resolution you would have opened a ticket even if it meant not getting an answer in a few days.

<snip>
Like i said before i did not submit a support ticket because SUPPORT IS CLOSED for the weekend.
<snip>

They use an automated ticketing system so putting in an email, even though they're closed now, gets you a spot in line. By waiting, you're actually gonna have to wait longer...ish :rolleyes:

Not trying to sue.. That never crossed my mind. I do not even have a case... and if i did i (if they never delivered content after a week or so of waiting) would spend more money pursuing the case than i would get back for cost's so it would not be worth it, again.. like i said before..All i got to do is call my bank if things go south which i doubt they would.

I use amazon frequently and i have used newegg with my last build about a year ago. I have NEVER had issues with either.. They have delivered by their due date EVERY single time. Nice package sitting at my doorstep like a present to unwrap. Digital content should be INSTANT. Like every other game. Freaking Fed-Ex was more accurate with their time delivery's than DIGITAL content.

perhaps it's my fault for likening huge companies like Newegg and Amazon to PGI
PGI isn't a company that runs like clockwork, we're lucky if things get done at all.
Getting mad because digital content takes awhile is a bit silly though, especially when you consider the company you're dealing with.

Eh? Defend them moar?

it's a digital purchase for a web store. Mom and dad business and small business all over have them... and you can probably buy some over the counter DIY webkit to do it.

I don't see what's so hard in a simple shopping cart, you paid, the digital product gets released to your account instead of some guy checking the shopping cart, check that you paid and then "injects" it... but then again this is PGI.

I'm not defending PGI as much as I'm trying to convey that you shouldn't expect triple A service from them.

And my fault for comparing the sums to counter argue. True, PGI can't hold a candle to those companies. But yet i received real goods shipped via mail (trucks), with a lot more variables, and their ETA is more accurate than PGI's digital content delivery.

I was never mad just upset, expected my content by said time/date, especially when i dropped a nice chunk of change. But it is understandable for the delay thanks to info i have gathered from previous post's.

Thank you for your input. It is genuinely appreciated.
I'm off to play a game or two with a spider, then log. take it easy.

Contact support.

But yeah it's pretty ridiculous there's a delay at all for a digital purchase. Maybe the guy injecting it split his coffee.

Imagine if Steam, or any other digital distributor, operated the same way.

This is just such an asinine a statement...

This is the terms of their delivery method. You either agree to it or you don't... Inferring they are some how delinquent because they don't adhere to a same/similar delivery mechanic as Steam is just being a picayune.

Don't have to agree with it... don't have to like it. That said, it's their chosen method and it's terms of use is actually well worded.

Failure to read and comprehend let alone failing to possess reasonable patience in terms of delivery time-frame is not PGIs fault. :rolleyes:
