My $7000 PC and 100MB cable connection says this game has some server side problems. Streamline and update your sheoT please this is 2014. Upgrade your internet lines. Do something because this waiting is crap.

I exit a match and wait 20sec? WTF Should be 2sec. I click ready and see my auto load consumables hasn't auto loaded and I have unclick the boxes and click them again then save. (Which takes another 10sec at least.) Then join a match... searching..................................................................................................................

Oh and if you aren't doing at least 300dmg and on my team GTFO. Cause every stat in this game is a product of DAMAGE. Any light can do 300 in a match doing less you might as well be on the other side or power down.

I agree with you about the servers, I think it is crap coding causing the lag though. The mechlab lag is ridiculous, my mech can be represented by ~20 characters by smurfy, and it takes 15 seconds to load all 12 of them.

I've done less than 300 damage in a mech with NARC and easily been the most valuable player on team, due to helping other players get damage. I've also been on teams where we stomped enemies 12-0 and nobody got 500 damage, with most sitting around 200. Stop measuring your epeen by damage and start shooting straight.

Your $7000 PC and high speed internet connection have nothing to do with how long you wait for a match. A $300 laptop on DSL would have the same times.

Match wait times are based on the Match Maker finding a slot in a match for you to play. You're assuming unlimited back end server resources to create matches and an unlimited pool of players to draw from. I can assure you, neither one is true.

Their backend database probably does need some work, but if they are running Oracle those updates/upgrades are not cheap. Buy more stuff. Then again, they may just need a better DBA with a better database design.

You gotta be a huge sucker to pay $7000 for a pc. An absolutely top of the line machine shouldn't cost that much unless you are getting ripped off.

You come off as a pompous ******, but your points about the server bullcrap are valid none the less. Not the search for match times, but going back to mechlab and basic match lag spikes etc are on PGI/IGP end of things. During busy times, like this weekend where a lot of people are after free stuff, it shows really really bad: IMO the servers are too small or wimpy to handle the stress of the spaghetti coded MWO game they have loaded on them.

Nobody uses normal computers for mining anymore, it's all ASC miners now.

I heard about USB sticks as miner. Those costs like 3 grand. Very cool and imitating to see that little piece of tech. Just Wow what happened in 30 years. Insane if you look back at the 50" with just a grey and black television.
