Don't worry at one time PPCs were 8 heat and ER PPCs were 10.

That changed relatively quick once they started working.

Small pulse combined with the speed of IS lights is a devastating tool. It's a hyper scalpel that will destroy any 'Mech foolish enough to not watch his back in mere seconds. The FS9-A and LCT-3M are particularly good with them; the former because it has 8 and the latter because it's damn quick.

IS SL right now is exactly the same heat. But it's supposed to be half that heat.
The current heat you have for the IS SL is what we're supposed to have for the IS SPL (meaning both would get colder).
The current heat we have for IS ML is what we're supposed to have for IS MPL.
