Yet, I'm sure the PGI cheerleaders will either ignore that, just stop commenting because they realize they look dumb now, or try to dismiss it. Quite the paradox ain't it?

Saw plenty of rubber banding and client hangs where it unfreezed and I was dead.

I realize that you cannot forgive losses as Riot has done with League of Legends when there are network issues, but I would really appreciate it if PGI would put their best foot forward and at least refund a few days of Premium Time to compensate for the weeks of DCs.

I agree 100% with this. Things have been getting worse not better with every patch and Hot Fix since the Clans. I could play before that without issues and now I get Crashes to Desk top almost every match. if it was happening Before ..then Sure it must Be ME or my ISP. But If I was able to play just Fine before ...How is it My end? I really Like this game..Ive been a Fan of MechWarrior Since I played Table Top and then on into all the Games up to Mech Assault which I never played as I Hate consoles. I dont agree with all the Changes that have happened IE the Nerfs and Module Changes. But I still Like playing the Game. But right now the level of Frustration is huge. Please Fix the Game. I want to Play and would even Pay to Play if you got everything going including the CW....Just Fix it. And in the Process Keep us appraised of the Progress on Fixing it.

DESYNC, RUBBERBANDING, WARPING MECHS.... yup, it`s still happening, and it isn`t getting any better.


Fix this before I am forced to move onto that ``other`` mech game.

Even worse than the Lag-rubber-banding-DE syncing is the player induced lag shoot some mechs for damage then disconnecting and rejoining I have over 20 screens of players with tags that are doing this and I think it is a huge exploit of the game just the same as being able to sync drop in solo queue is a exploit.

Of course PGI will say (Don't worry fellas working as intended)

Other than the brown nosing posts which look like the same idiots who rated the game a "10" on gamespot, I agree with this current round of posts.


Up until the last few weeks I've had zero issues in game besides the occasional spider rubber banding across my screen. No DC's, FPS and ping have all been ok. I know it's not my rig since other games I play have ZERO issues of note. Now I'm getting lag, DC's, and it's visually displeasing and disorienting when that happens.



C'mon PGI. You got your hands on the license to one of the oldest games out there, has a solid fan base, and you need to deliever.

To be fair I have only had it once since the data centre move, and I was getting it quite a lot before hand.
So they seem to have improved it at least for me in the last few ays

My ping increased 5% (to 240) since the Great Server Move.

My ping DOUBLED. I was always, and I mean ALWAYS below 70 ping. Most of the time I was between 50 and 60.

Now my ping is ALWAYS above 100, and hovers between 110-120 most of the time.

Hey thanks PGI for the great new server...

Can we move back to the old one now?

I notice a more prevalent traffic jam scenario where every mech starts running on the spot.

Noticeable in almost every match i played today

I've had far fewer desync/lag issues since the move, and my ping went from an avg. of about 30 to about 37.

On an unrelated note, the client now crashes more for me since the last patch. You win some, you lose some.

personally, I see no need for the personal attack... personally I've had no connection issues... well, 2-3 de-syncs in... possibly 40-50 battles... nothing that would make the game unplayable... or warrant personal attacks on players that say they have no issues or connection problems...

go figure...

Depends on where I play the game, if I play it at home, I get the desync rubber banding issues about 1/8 games. If I play at school (fiber line, nice fast internet), I have low 50-ish pings and no networking issues.

the server migration fixed the problem for me...

instead of having desyncs every other drop, I now get them every drop

u cant complain I got 400 ping now that just unplayable I cant hit anything unless there either standing still or moving in a straight line towards or from me I did have 335 from the old server new one bleh

forget playing a light cant or close combat just doesn't work
