Well this topic went sideways fast.
My 2 cents:

Most of the time, we learned not to take seriously what PGI (Russ or Paul) tweet. Their heart may be in the right place, but then comes the reality of work and most of the stuff is reanalysed or restructured or just redacted

With that in mind, Russ's tweets MAY be referring to balancing heat generated by the module vs ghost heat. We will have to wait for more info about it.

So guys, don't get your panties in a twist. I know GH is one of the big issues on MW:O but for now we just have to keep living with it, no use daydreaming...

About the prt-scr key, Blood, if you are using a laptop you might want to try using the [fn] key when pressing the print-screen one. If you are not on a laptop or it doesn't work, try getting some freeware to print-screen with alternative keys.
Or try this:

"Just press and hold the Windows hardware button and then press Volume Down (on the left side of the device).
This is analogous to pressing Win+PrtScr and will auto-save the screenshots in the Screenshots folder in the Pictures Library."

probably need to plug the printer back in. I will try that first, not that it is a hard problem. I could have done it already I just haven't gotten to it yet. right now my printer is to the left of me just sitting there. I rather use action recorder to take the pics.

its been sitting unplugged for a year. So.....yea

You can't post pictures directly from your computer here, you have to upload them to some picture hosting site first and then use the URL to that to get your picture on here.

In easy-to-follow steps then:
1. Use print screen button + paint (or some other kind of program, I use the Snipping Tool in Win7) to save the pic to your hard drive
2. Upload the picture to a picture hosting site, e.g. imgur, tinypic, imageshack, or something similar.
3. Copy the URL pointing at your picture on that site.
4. Click the "Image" icon in the toolbar of the reply box here.
5. Paste the URL.
6. Hit "Post".

Let's just review here for the OP.

1) They aren't getting rid of ghost heat.
2) They ARE getting rid of the heat penalties on weapons modules.
3) Print Screen copies the current display on your monitor, whereupon you can open up Paint and simply paste it there.
4) You still have to save that image somewhere online to link it here, as the Internets will not magically open your computer from everywhere to let us see it.
5) Stop digging yourself a deeper hole.

does the word and, before a word mean anything to you? if it was just a weapon modules he would have just said removing ghost heat on weapon modules. I do not see why everyone is getting their feathers all riled up riled upI have said many times now maybe maybe not.

Do you know how language works? Do you understand the concept of context?

He talks about weapon modules. They have a heat penalty because someone at PGI felt 'it'd be too much' to give a 30 meter range boost to my 1620 meter robot shotgun without some kind of drawback, and currently go up to level 2.

Russ says 'weapon mods!' Then he says 'we're adding up to level 5!' Oh my god, he's obviously gonna add up to level 5 mech skill trees! That's what he's talking about, right? Oh my god, and level 5 tech! Wait, is there even level 5 tech? Who cares - that's totally what he means. Ghost heat is going away, too, because that's what 'removing heat penalty' means. Oh my god, I am a euphoric 22 year old who can't even figure out how to use the print screen function on my computer!

That they'll add 'things other than range' obviously totally for real serious means airstrikes are getting boosted. Because that's what he's talking about, right?

Since you've never looked at the weapon modules, it's understandable you'd not know they have a heat penalty. Everything else? You're just out of your mind.

Please stop posting already. Two greens have been by your thread, and not a single post has been removed. They're probably feeling EXTREME shame after reading your words, just like everybody else in here.

It's removing heat from weapon modules so people will actually use them. Ghost heat is a Paul fetish and will remain.
