just sitting there for like 20 minutes...

guessing my game is now destroyed and needs to be completely re-downloaded and re-installed which will take me until tomorrow something?

Same here, been finalizing for a little while now. Seriously bogging down a fairly new quad core in the process.

Edit: moved on now to finalized patching 2 of 2, we'll see

Same problem here. My quad-core gets slowed down to a crawl. Even when rendeing a large high poly scene in Blender,my CPU does not get that slow. Either their patcher is as unoptmized as it gets or something other technical is going on. Never in all my gaming life did i encounter a patcher that slowed my system down to such extend.
