Yep my Jenner still has both. Just dropped into a match and training ground, still both available and on auto refill.

Yep, I still had a Timberwolf with both strikes, and launched both strikes in my 1st match today. They even auto refilled when I got out of the match.

I'm starting to think that there isn't even a quality control department at PGI and that the Patch Feedback and ComStar Focus Group forums are the closest things they have to actual QC.

Thanks for the bug report!

But now that you know that it is a bug, you of course stopped using it, or you would be exploiting it. And you know that exploits are forbidden, don't you? :)

No that cannot happen that you still have 2 strikes !

This new feature has been tested 2 weeks in the QA department intensively.
Everything works as intended.

That's exactly what they do and what they will keep doing with CW. It's gonna be so much fun to watch.

Just a small point... QA guys don't fix bugs they only find and document them for the programmers to fix.

When I worked as an internal QA guy in the late 90s on a game that was boxed and sold worldwide our team of 8 testers found, reproduced, and documented 1200 bugs in 3 months they gave us (working mandatory 72 hour weeks that whole time). The programmers fixed 600 and the game was released to the store shelves. But yeah, those bugs left in the game were all QA's fault. LOL.

Sure, I guess it's not QA's fault.

However, when you propose a "change" in the game and it doesn't appear to have been "tested", it shows the lack of "priorities" or "understanding" that goes with it.

How do you know it wasn't tested? How do you know it wasn't found and documented?

All we know is it was not corrected (by a programmer since QA don't fix things) before the patch released today.

Honestly I feel that forcing the inability to use two strikes hasn't done anything but made Airstrikes pretty much obsolete.

Between the two, why use an airstrike when you only have one choice?

It hasn't because the solution to the problem is actually requiring of a database "adjustment" by removing all the consumables... notably the two in question and set it back into the inventory.

The enforcement issue has to do with the program (kinda like valid cfgs for your mechs), but there's literally one portion that requires the database adjustment that has nothing to do with the program itself.

You know it's a database thing when people are saying "I had them both equipped prior to the patch". I'm sure the mechlab may actually refuse to let you equip tehm both... EXCEPT it doesn't realize/recognize (that particular case) that both are PREVIOUSLY equipped.

QA guys don't adjust the database either.

Look, if we are going to play the blame game let's at least blame the right people.

I stopped short of saying it's entirely QA's fault. The thing is, ultimately it falls on PGI's (as a group) shoulders.

Just once I would like a patch without something being borked... just once.

I actually by far prefer airstrikes. If you line one up properly on a good target you will do significantly more damage than with an arty.
