I am too hoping it will be the Grasshopper. One of my favourite mechs. Fast jumping heavy, and it even has an ECM variant. There is no ECM heavy in game so far.

The 7K was developed 3068 however, in the present timeframe there are only three available variants the original GHR-5H, the GHR-5J and GHR-5N. Hero would have to be an invented variant.

My only critique is that it supposed to be PPCs OVER lasers.

A 75 ton jumpjet heavy?

This is the answer!

The third variant can be a hero.

I'd like to see a Panther, just because it's so iconic to the Draconis. For some reason I see it being Vindicator Version II, though. :P

Mauler seems a good bet.

I'm hoping they start releasing "one-variant" mechs eventually. Not sure how you'd grind them up to Elite, but that's a minor problem (either make them 3x the XP to grind, or make it that you have to have three different "one variant" mechs in order to start grinding)

I like this idea. There are several good BattleMech designs that don't have 3 or more variants.

For the love of Kerensky, give up on the Urbie already! :P

I don't think this comment can be stated emphatically enough.

There are sooooo many issues to fix and decent mechs to release before PGI gets around to designing and releasing joke mechs, it's not even funny.

Let me enlighten you with a cross-post from a now 48-page thread that started out as a bad April Fool's joke:

View Poststjobe, on 02 September 2014 - 08:36 PM, said:

There's also a 39-page petition to add the Urbie in the Feature Suggestions forum. That thread was started back in 2011, and even featured in one of PGI's first official gaffes and subsequent public excuses.

So yes, the Urbie is quite popular. Here's a 20-page pro- and con-thread from 2012, here's Bishop Steiner's Urbie Love thread, and here's the first thread I could find about Urbie Day.

Googling "site:mwomercs.com urbanmech" gives 6,170 results, and since there's been 1037 days since November 1st, 2011, this means the Urbie is mentioned on these forums an average of six times a day!

You're damn right it is popular.

It's got to be one of the best looking models, I doubt it'd even need much work to fit into the MWO art style.

Has anyone else noticed that all the Clan OmniMechs that have been released, except the Warhawk, are at the upper end of their weight class? By contrast, most of the Inner Sphere Heavy and Assualt BattleMechs are at the lower end of their weight class. So to try and level this out, I think we should get more 70- and 75-ton Heavy Mechs, as well as, 95- and 100-ton Assault Mechs.

Here are some suggestions:

Black Knight
Flashman
Hammerhands
Marauder

Devastator
Emperor
King Crab
Nightstar
Pillager
