Well i mean i like basically that the guys from PGI are giving us those challenges. But PGI should work on the disconnect issue. I wanted to make my 20 victories but now i have only 19 victories because many people have had quit the matches at start only to get as many mechs into matches as possible. I don`t know if it works that way but it seems to me that those guys thought they will get the victories from every match if the team wins and they have their disconnected mechs inside those teams. Please PGI do something against guys who are doing this.

Please excuse my bad english - im not a native speaker and stuff.

Time ago the implemented the "reconnect" feature, if you reconnect before 2 mins you still get the victory and all bonuses, but just getting in and disconnecting, it's as losing. Maybe those guys are new to the game, or problems not related to the game servers

Is that correct?
As far as I know you need to reconnect within 2 minutes from whenever you disconnected or else everything you'd normally earn after your disconnect won't be given. You wil get the win and all stats after the disconnect, but you don't get any rewards for it (XP and CB earned).
If you disconnect and your team wins, you'll lose the FWOTD double XP on the mech.

Also what isn't certain is if you die after a few minutes of combat and quit to start another match is: do you still get assists, win/lose money and double XP (if your team still wins) or does it only apply if you're disconnecting without dying?
Some NGNG bloke said it does count, but he wasn't certain about it.
Another hidden game-element that has been well documented and communicated to the public so there are no discussions about it..

Also, no Nova for CB and Daishi for MC this patch?

Yep sorry i forgot that, if you disconnect after dying everything is as normal as always, xp cbills and so on. and True if you disconnect, and do not reconnect you loose xp cbills and so on

Well, I managed to squeak all three levels in even during times of some lag.
While getting all three rewards, upon review, I think this needs changes.
It is not as bad as the ones based on kills where only those with good kill scores will easily achieve except all the people who break out their LRM rain.
It does reward teamwork better since the better a team functions, the better chance you have of winning.
First reward is fine.
Second, non-banked Premium Time makes me feel like I am forced to play. Bad idea, if it cannot be banked, just don't offer it.
Third, I realized I pushed to the top level just to get enough C-Bills that pay for an expensive module with 500 grand left over. Is that really worth the top reward slot? Over this tournament, I earned 20 million C-Bills from all the games, about three times the top level reward.
What makes a better reward?
Unique camo.
Cockpit item not normally available in Store.
Instead of Premium Time, just give MC like in some other tournaments and it should be ranked higher than a CB reward.
GXP reward, at least enough to unlock something like a Weapon Module plus enough CB to buy at least one of them.

yeah really nice... i didnt made it to the 50.
played 4 hours to get 6 wins, only got 2 out of it while getting pushed into "noob" teams.. once again had to play with braindeads and apes who can't even count to three.

i mean 4 hours for 6 wins ... should be possible. also it should have been possible to reach the 3rd tier "reward" for ppl who dont have the time to play all weekend because they have to work/family etc...

shhhhh 4 hours only 2 wins.. i still dont get it. on the other hand, those who joined a game and instantly disconnected, joining another game with another mech and instant DCs and those ******** gets the rewards while their team is one or mostly two behind.... screw this!

4 wins left... i'm pissed!

On the whole the rewards we good, and it is always nice to see free stuff. But I agree that the premium time would have been a little better handled if it was bankable.

However, I think PGI should consider a point or match socre based system next time. As that means high damage, no kills games still go a long way to completing the challenge, and games where you did great but you lost still don't render the previous game invalid. Also maybe something like a unique cockpit item as you have done for some of the previous events would be cool.

I choosed the best way to win - i played my old 3l in which i think i got a average elo and did it all narc support way . 3:1 win lose ratio worked great for completing the thing . The mech i play most , the DWF only yields 1.2 :1 WL ratio but is very profitable .

I'm going to have to remember that strategy for next time: play in some derpy small mech with a mediocre kdr and good support functions, instead of trying to huff it through a sea of overpowered clan bullcrap in an IS assault. Seriously, I can't even imagine how much damage I'd do per round in one of those. If only I had more money than principles.

Ah yes, two of the fun things about this tournament.
1 - the discon farmers may have been out. I say may because a couple of times I got disconned but rejoined, once I even got disconned and could not get back in until the match was over, one of the base capture games. When I did, My Mech kept moving back to the start location every time I tried to leave!
2 - All the, "It is all my team's fault we lost!" complainers came out in force.

Played 11 hours the last day and got 49 wins then the server went down. The last hour didn;t get any wins there were several people the was dc after the game started and never came back dropped several time with the same person doing that. I think they wee trying to farm the system but screwed up my chance to get my last win since it is really hard when you have multiple mech dc and your down 2 mech plus to win. I was almost mad enough to uninstall this game from my computer i was so pissed off at those people but i decide to take a break the rest of the day. Still wish the ban hammer would come down on those people doing that ruins the game for everyone.

One word: Skirmish.

One sentence: Why should I play a game mode I hate just so greedy, selfish people can profit from poor games?

So, it's everyone else's fault that you're batting 23% when you should be batting 50% ?

Ya know, some days you rack-up a bunch of wins, other days you rack-up a bunch of losses... when's the last time you won a ton of matches in a short period of time and said "Wow, my absolutely awesome teams carried me to victory!" ?

Do you get the urge to make that claim as often as you blame your team for dragging you down, or are you really that good and it's their fault for you losing 77% of the matches this weekend?

No my point was that you couldnt rely on your team to work together. I played over 10 hours straight on my one day off and couldnt hit 50 wins. Im saying a point system as i had described would have promoted overall performance. There were a ton of afk'ers in this event as well.

I unfortunately got the bad draw in mm for this event and thus could not get 50 wins. However im okay with the mechbay and 7 days premium. I was just pointing out the poor decision to use wins and a better system that could have been used.

Do not play if you get the feeling of boredom or annoyance. As easy as that. You do not have to play the game.

What a kind of comment shall that be? People are requesting a workaround from the devs to stop guys who are behaving dishonest and who are betraying their team. No matter if its a pug game or not, people who are doing instant dc`s are ruining the spirit of the challenge.
Constructively critics towards this game is needed to make it better.

Played all weekend, managed to get to 47/50 by Tuesday morning... Had about 4 hours to go, so plenty of time for 3 wins... Bam, power to the whole block goes out. For the rest of the day. All that grinding to get so close and not make it... ;)
