As it says on the tin, are you planning on doing anything about those of us with ticking premium time that's going to waste because we can't actually play the game to make use of product and service we payed for? Cause you know, premium time ain't cheap. And I'd like to be compensated, any plans on good customer relations on this issue?

If not, that's cool....

Premium time needs a Pause button. seriously.

You've already payed for it, would be alot better if you could spend it wisely and when you need it.

They've done public compensations like that before, like giving everyone a 'Mech bay and one day of premium time (either added to your ticker, or if you have not-yet-activated premium time, the one day is auto-activated and does not activate your stored premium time.)

In fact, it's happened once within the past couple months.

So others are not able to connect to a game then as well?

I usually get one of three outcomes:
-failing to find match
-upon finding match, losing connection to server right at the start
-if I manage to make it past the start up sequence, I have between 30secs to 5 minutes of normal gameplay before a massive desync takes place and I have to leave match

Yikes, I seem to wait for long time at the connecting screen and then figure something isn't right and quit.

Kind of bummed, really looking forward to trying out that new mech I just bought. And yeah, wasting premium time is always good.

Hello Tanreh,

We will review this request after we have come up with a fix for the issue, that way we will be in a better position to simply recompense the entire player base instead of a single user at a time. Unfortunately, we cannot turn Premium Time off once it has started. We thank you for your patience in this matter and apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for contacting MechWarrior® Online™ Customer Support.

Tried to stop premium time 10 days ago...

Well i gotta say, for once i agree with PGI.

Any other game i pay to play it's a monthly fee, PGI calls it premium time. Once it's up and running, thats your problem. Whats that, you had 1 year vip in a game and now have to move/become sick/etc then ask and they might be kind but they have no obligation to do so.

DDO seen people pay for 12 months vip access and work drags them away for 3 months, oh well.

Unless they break their game preventing me from using the services I paid for. Then they aren't holding up their end of the business agreement.

Other people play without problems.
How can you be sure that it isn't your ISP or any other reason?

i and a few other people experienced game wide desync whom in a number of cases more then half of the players mass disconnect from the game. its not isp problem at that point...
a number of screenshots have proven that as well as video recorded of the mass desync of mechs moonwalking and desynced movements no hit fire & etc...

igp has already acknowledged that it is an issue and are attempting to fix the servers in an earlier post.

refunding premium time is not going to cost igp any money per say but rather encourage and motivate people spending more money in the game because the company values their client base which increases customer loyalty and faith in the company.

infact having the ability to automatically pause premium time while not logged in would only increase the value of the game but the potential greater value and reason for customers in getting premium time.

if a customer played 2 hours every day it would make no sense for him not to buy premium time but if it was the revamped premium time it would make sense to get 1 day to 1 month of premium game time because he could play 12 days for the 24 hours of premium time

if people see the perceived value of that it would make it a more popular choice to buy this revamped premium at 250 mc which is approximately worth $2.45, you would see whole lot more sales for premium time by at least of a factor of 10 if not more.

anyways enough rambling from me good night all

While the EULA likely protects them from having to "hold up their end" because standard internet pseudo-contract, again, they have done such compensations before. As their ticket-response says, however, they do the compensation for everyone at once, after they have reasonable belief (right or wrong as that belief may be) that the problem is at least mitigated.

Uhh...

Pre-patch: Connecting to games no problem

Post-patch: I can't connect to a match. It searches and finds one but then just stays on the connecting screen.

This evidence suggests (I know I'm REALLY going out on a limb here) that the patch broke something for some of us. Why it is limited to some I do not know.

Unrelated question: did you get your clan tags removed via support or did you make an alt account? I only ask because I am interested in removing tags prior to unit formation.
