I pretty much levelled all 3 kit foxes, but with the omnipods, it seems all 3 variants are identical.

Furthermore what was the point was levelling past basic on all 3 If I am going to sell 2 of them and only go with 1 to master since they are all the same. I feel like I wasted time and gxp doing elite level upgrades to all 3 now that I can keep one that can run all variants. I feel hurr durr?

Did I miss anything or is that how it is?

PGI wants you to grind.

Nothing to identify one from the other, functionally. A shame, really. No reason to have more than one, unless you want to keep a few loadouts ready to go.

But I mean I went past basic on all 3. Since all you need is all 3 basic to get 1 to master, I pretty much wasted all that time playing on the other 2 mechs (even used about 10000gxp on the ones I am going to sell).

Can someone post a list of all clan the mechs that hive differences in the variants so I know for future.

You can make your favorite Load out on all three than and be able to Speed drop.

Smurfy has the Pods listed, some of which do have hardpoints in the CT.

I don't think it mentions the quirks, though some CTs do have them.

If you pre-ordered them, you'd be silly to sell them. If not... just keep the Prime, if you want some extra Mech Bays. Otherwise you've got extra 'Mechs you can keep with separate loadouts, as I do with my Timber Wolves.

yup but my point is it seems wasted my time and xp doing mechs I wont keep and dont need to grind. Why keep the prime. Shouldn't u say keep any 1?

Because most anyone that bought clan mechs would say prime out of habit due to Cbill bonus. I just don't think the Cbill purchased primes get it though.

I got my Invasion mech to Master level, and sold the other 2.

Sure, you can use the others as a quick loadout change, but there is no real reason to keep one variant over the others when you can swap hardpoint omni-pods.

So, if you want to sell the other two mechs, I say go for it.

You feel hurr durr because you wasted GXP?

Im sorry but I have to agree with you there, mechbays are everywhere these days so you should have just grinded them casually even if all 3 have the same grinding build, I got my kitfoxes from day one and I still havent really gotten past the first elite speed tweak on the 3 of them

all are primes, the clan packs came with invasion variants with a cbill bonus, different geometry and a unique paint.

for cbill people if you dont want to keep others for different instant loadouts just pick any one and sell the other 2.

Are the quirks attached to the CT or what? If so, just keep one of the two with positive quirks. If not... I have nothing new to add.

Thanks, MonkeyCheese. Legs though? That's a weird place to hold the quirks, since they're identical.

Kitty ecm, a classic.

I went with the summoner/nova/kitfox pack, and, Summoner confirmed to be my clan favorite chassis, as always.
So I kept 3 of them for 3 very different loadout, and they are always ready.
I enjoy kitty and nova, but only 1 config each, so I sold the other two once mastered.

I'm really ansious to have stormcrow and timber to grind :)

S variant legs give the ability to equip 2 jumpjets each, you dont have to put them in the legs they can be placed in the side torsos tho.

this.. that´s what i do... although, true: grinding 3 "variants" on omnis is kinda pointless...

Pointless, maybe. Useless? NEG!

I mean, you want to have that speed tweak on your Kit Fox. You want another mech module slot.

If i did not have to save my 38 millions for the next OmniMechs, i would buy more "variants" of the Kit Fox.

yea right, you got a point there... but you also could just get 3 centers of the same "variant" and have the bonuses on them, and buy different pods to create different loadouts... but yea, it is like it is, would have been too much work to just raise the needed XP for omni mechs <_<
