[Angel of Annihilation]

According to the original schedule, Summoner was suppose to be next after the Nova but they apparently substituted in the Dire Wolf instead.

Honestly I am glad about this change as I am definitely more excited to get my hands on the Dire Wolf than I was the Summoner and now will only have to wait 2 weeks for it instead of a month but I wonder why the swtich up?

I guess perhaps it is to drive sales since I am sure the Dire Wolf is more popular but while I know the Dire Wolf is up for MC, it just seems like buying the Dire Wolf Ala Carte and getting 3 chassis plus a prime with C-bill bonus would cheaper or at least almost as cheap as buying a single Dire Wolf with MC. On the other hand, maybe that in and of it self will drive sales....of the Ala Carte Dire Wolf.

Anyway, looking forward to the Nova tonight and now the Dire Wolf in 2 weeks.

Note: I am an idiot. For some reason I was thinking that the C-bill release was 2 weeks behind the MC release. Guess I was confusing the new mech every two weeks with the actual release schedule. Disregard my post.

summoners rubbish (im grinding them at the moment. bad hitboxes, limited hardpoints compared to most other clan mechs as well as some of its innersphere counterparts, forced equipment), so no one is really missing anything if they go for a dire wolf or even a nova over a summoner.

Um, where did you hear/read this? I don't see a change in the main Clan Mech Release Schedule thread.

What are you talkng about? Summoners are already available for MC and will be available for CBills September 8th as per the release schedule.

Well, the sheer irony is that in the patch notes, Summoners had their MC value "adjusted".

Clearly, the Summoner is THAT popular!

To be fair, I am a work, trying to sneak in posts here and there while my boss isn't watching. Still yeah I should have checked the schedule before posting rather than try to base on my memory of the release schedule (which was obviously faulty).

was tryin to point out that If they are going to add some kind of comms (VIOP).... it shouldn't just be for when your in a match...
We will soon be getting Unit Creation.. and with that some sort of comms out side of matches is needed...
I and I think many others would find it much better to talk to our Unit/Clan... then to have to type it out to everyone...

But yes.. baby steps first... 1st comms in matches.. then Unit comms outside of matches... is that soo bad??
