Greetings MechWarriors!

Please tell us about your experience with the Unit Creation system!

Once you create the unit and a line with a faction, can that alignment be changed?

Not sure if it is because our name was reserved by our main leader in the pre-build thread, or I renamed the "Leader" rank as a park of the rank setup. I no longer seem to be a part of the unit I just created or I have zero permissions. I can't recreate the unit again either as the same is already taken now.

A support ticket is already opened..

Edit: So our leader is already in the unit with no permissions due to being at the lowest rank. It also shows I am still in with the top end permissions, although my client is acting like I am not in a unit at all.


Word of caution to everyone, I would wait until the pre-registered person logs into the game to create the unit, and don't alter the default unit leader rank. Not sure which one of those things (If not both) broke the system.

I m sure it will be in at some point...

But wow I just had so much fun just with the moveable unit chat window! And its size can be changed too!!!!

So far so good keep adding more functionality, bells and whistles. Thanks PGIs

Assign Ranks Permission is NOT working.

Repeat: Assign Ranks Permission is NOT working.

Unit creator can assign ranks, but any other rank that has been given the 'assign ranks' permission are not able to assign ranks. Or at least, we cannot see how.

Looks like my unit was locked into the faction I had selected on profile prior to the creation of the unit. I don't see an option within the title or the webpage to switch that to be a Merc unit versus attached to a specific faction.

Is this a feature that's not online yet or just overlooked? Or I'm just blind and not finding it while at work and looking at this when I have a few moments free

Also attempted to change my faction to merc unit to see if it was solely connected to my selected faction - this lead to me noticing I am unable to change my faction selection entirely.

Ok, so our Unit Creator(on the pre-approved list) went into the Forum Profile and choose Clan Wolf. Logged into the game about 15 minutes later. Unit was already created since it was pre-approved. Unit is a "Merc Corps". No way to change it post unit creation(either the Unit leader or members).

Support ticket opened.

Edit Note: And the boards show me as Clan Wolf.

I am also wondering about changing your unit faction symbol in game.

If there is no difference between merc and house unit abilities then can we please have the ability to change affiliations?
Maybe every 48 hours or whatever time frame is deemed acceptable.

Right now everyone's faction symbol is changed to your unit's.

Try clicking on the rank in the Member Management window, you should get a dropdown to be able to choose the available ranks.

When will be able to fix the Faction change option. You have locked us into a House even though we are a Merc Unit working for a House. Would like the option to change House Affiliations as we see fit.

Need assistance, we pre registered our unit, however the leader role of our unit will be filled by a null account, as our unit does not have a single leader, when trying to invite the users and council to the unit, i get Cannot invite to invalid unit.

Yeah, that's what I mean. The option is not there for anyone in our unit except the unit creator.


Edit: I can alter MY OWN rank (as in I can demote myself) but I cannot alter any one elses rank, including those subordinate to me in the unit.

While creating the unit I messed up the unit tag somewhat. After disbanding the unit to recreate it with the correct tag I get the error message "This unit with this name already exists". How long will it take for names of disbanded units to become available again?

Issue:

Created a unit but realized there was a typo so I disbanded ( I was the only member of the unit ).
I am now unable to recreate the unit with the same tag.
Unit does not appear to exist but I can not use the previous tag.

Another Issue, it appears that unit leadership can not be transferred. The options to allow certain ranks to edit and adjust rank permissions are greyed out.

The hotfix didn't correct our issue.

I (Unit creator) do not show that I am a member of a unit in the client, and it kicked our actual leader out of the unit...
