House/Faction: I've always favored Steiner. They still in business? It really doesn't matter though. Clan or IS, I go where the guns are.

Playstyle: Long range missle dump with medium range weaponry to support allies and defend myself when the lights come charging.

Roletype: Supporting or backup.

Preferred Weight: I like Mediums and up. I have 1 assault, and 1 heavy currently. Trying to figure out my next mech and eyeballing the Archer, but probably will go with a medium if anyone can advise me as to which one fights like an angry red-head.

Experience: I began playing this type of game back with paper and dice. Moved to digital when Activision made their first title of "Mechwarrior", and have just kept going. I literally stopped playing this game for almost a year due to one group in particular (long story. lots of drama. you don't want it). I'd like to jump back in, and with these new features I'm kind of grooving to it better than before. People who played with me enjoyed it and counted on me for the roles I was assigned. Back then, it was pretty much drop, shoot, win or lose. Now with things changing it should be slightly more complex than before. I mean, hell all we had we like 20 mechs? This game has exploded and though I don't have gobs of time to dump into it, I'd rather play this than a lot of other popular games out there that are extremely frustrating, or hacked.

Though I prefer those play styles I have no problems firing up an assault mech and being the tip of the spear. Or running around in a light mech shooting the big boys in the butt. I enjoy playing around with the trial Direwolf, Shadowcat, and Arctic Cheetah. I have several other much variations I'm curious to try, as soon as I get the c-bills to afford them.
I used to be a hardcore gamer but due to family obligations don't have near as much time as I used to. So now I'm a casual player that is usually online from 10pm to 12am. I'm looking for a casual / fun unit to play with.
