Basically I have a mastered Raven 3l (no dual er larges thank you...) I am currently working on learning the Stromcrow, but medium tactics still escape me at this point. I do find that that at least in pug I am far above average in skill level in my Mech of chioce. I understand teamwork. The last MMOish type of game I was involved in was a DayZ whitelist server. If you check my statistics page you will find them lacking, but this is my first proper mech game. I died alot when learning. And also, you don't exactly rack up the kills in a Raven3l (unless you are a er large sniper which I am not). I do enjoy the Lore of Battletech, coming from a Dungeons and Dragons background.

7/12-1/13 - Robinson Rangers, was company commander for most of that time. Left because I was not happy with the casual nature of that unit.
2/13-7/14 - Death's Hand Brigade. Was Battalion XO for a while, left due to declining numbers.
8/14-11/14 Aseveljet Merc Corp. Left due to personal issues with the competitive team drop commander's "lovely sunny attitude" .

I have every mech in the game mastered (other than Spiders and Commando's), and most of the useful ones ready to go. I'm used to playing in a competitive Meta environment (Proxis, MRBC) and would like to join a group that can (or wants to) play to a high level.

I'm an old geezer at 40yo. I'm a professional engineer who has little time or tollerance for BS - I deal with enough of that in my day job so I'm not going to tolerate that out of hours...
I'm able to play most days of the week - 7pm to 11pm UK time - so usually available for EU timezone competitive games. Wiling to do what ever the team needs, even if I have to go out shopping for it. Also always willing to listen to others who have a better build for me to try.

Just getting back into this game after about a year and a half or so away. I've played some pugs and realize that they're not helping me develop the skills to pay the bills. I think I can convince the bank to let me keep the farm for a while, but the man will eventually come a knockin'.

In order to git gud I think I need to jump into a Merc Unit and get some of that good mentorship. I'm a casual player with competitive aspirations, but given a full-or-more time career with a potentially wonky schedule, casual is probably where I'll continue to ferment.

My PUG match results are fairly chaotic. Sometimes I top the charts, more often I get #shrekt, but I usually hover somewhere around the middle. I only have two mechs at the moment. I had more, but they were unsatisfactory and a man has to pay for his XL engines somehow. I dig SRM's, things that wub, and not going slow.

Cut my teeth on the board game and early Infocom software, even visited the LA Battletech center before it folded. Played the 1989 Mechwarrior way too much. So that outs me as an older player. I have all the good experience that comes with that; relatively clam and mature, fun oriented, and the bad; my BS filter filled up years ago so (read carefully) my tolerance level is 0. I treat people with maturity and respect and demand the same from people I associate with.

I'm looking for a mature group of players that plays as a team to try out that aspect before community warfare. I save the serious stuff for real life, I figure would probably be best as a "reserve" of a large group.
