PGI is buffing Clan LRMs in the public test. As if there wasn't enough QQ already. So, I have no other choice than drop in my LRM Warhawk and farm easy kills. I really hope as many people as possible will demonstrate the full power of Clan LRMs during the public test.

It's the only way they'll learn.

Well, a lot of people, myself included, have avoided LRM boating because it's basically easy mode in the solo queue. In the group queue, it depends on your teammates and your opponents to a greater extent. But in solo queue? Forget about it.

Solo queue = easy mode, is just a myth.

Its like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.

Cue the multiple threads in this section authored by assorted people complaining about the solo queue matchmaker being broken due to them failing to achieve higher than a 30% W/L ratio.

Which is fine for long range bombardment at 800 meters. The times Clan LRMs wreck me is when someone just slapped on an LRM30 as an afterthought and fired them into my face at 150m, completely blinding me while they tear me apart with all their other weapons. And now they can do that even faster I guess? Yay...

no offense but that's where you learn to adapt.
ACs give screen shake
LRMs give screenshake
JJs give screen shake
AC2's give screen shake at even greater distances than LRMs with no min range either.

It's not like LRMs are the only weapon system in the game that causes effects like that.

They can be a pain but there's tons of strategies, tactics, builds, etc. that will counter them

Wasn't there a follow-up post indicating that the LRM numbers were wrong, and that LRMs actually got nerfed?

I think it was no change, not a nerf.

Clan lrms suck compared to IS. Also, if your above lrm 10 then your lrms suck, either clan or IS.
