Ping in the one match I've played after move: 130
Location: Northern Europe.
Sunday morning ping from Northern Europe seems stable at 120.
Not much of an improvement, so I hope it's at least cheaper for PGI with the new servers.

To be quite frank, I don't care if it's 'cheaper' for them. They've obviously screwed over a lot of players here. Some of that is the ISPs' faults, granted, but not many of us can, or will, change our ISP just to suit PGI's newest money saving scheme.

I appreciate what your saying ( i would be the same in your place),but they aren't going to migrate back, so you might as well look forward and try and resolve the ISP issues.
As lame as that is.

I am hoping that it's an issue of DNS servers all over the world updating and figuring out what the new best routes are for data but it's been really rough.
Really, really rough.

Still getting some desyncs, which is a pain.
Whilst my reported ping is about 10 lower, performance actually feels worse in game (lag spikes etc).
I hope this is just teething problems and I hope we get some feed back from the devs on how things are going after the weekend.

Yes please, I'd love to have <30ms ping all the time, but that would add about 70ms for most of North America.

I use Optus Wireless which has gone from about 290-300 to 320-330
And when my daughter isn't sucking Youtube dry, Dodo on my land line. This has gone from a a steady 260 out to 370 which is ridiculous.
Before anyone says anything, I have no other choices. It took me 4 years just to get Dodo and no one else can supply in my area. (no available ports at the exchange)
I'll check from work tomorrow which has an absolutely rock steady 250ms ping through iinet and check back in then.
Edit.
Logged in for one game at work through iinet. Ping was 252. So absolutely normal.
It would appear that it is directly related to your ISP. As to what I can do about it I have no idea.

Nah at this stage I am updating WoT (2G seems worth it after this ****) and heading back there as at least eastern servers are 220 and western 180.....380 though is somewhere beyond Aus...

That's ISP problem dude. It must be routing you oversea to reach the new DC.
Or a very congested link issue.
