That and Star Wars The Force Unleashed always came over as an insult.
I think if a MechWarrior chooses to follow the path of the Aspect of Warp Spider then that should be an option!
Haters.
But I also want assault class mechs to have to option to mount a giant vacuum that sucks in smaller mechs and absorbs their powers

Additionally to an "Late Access Key" for the Game. I'm not shure, would "Winter 2012" be a rightful "gift"?

The Rainbow L:ight Warriors of the Combine will also need a partial shield that looks like a Rainbow Cape to prevent our dishonorable enemies from trying to backstab us!

I wanna take this propose mech, mount my jumpjets facing rearward in a V-shape cluster, so instead of just jumping upwards I can use JJ as a "sprint" beyond MASC, then let's add a giant electrified cattelprod melee weapon, phallus shaped and electric pink! Chugga-chugga-CHOO-CHOO!

Last time I checked the BTU was in a recession on tech.
There are shields in Battletech, but they function more like static barriers, and only protect against PPCs.

- very light armor
- nanotech auto repair function
- low power shields
- weapon load very low, or melee fists. If use fists then extra space for better support equipment.
benefits:
- very fast movements
- instant short range teleport, can repeat right after warping out, thus travel fast
- can hit enemies without being hit themselves, but if you get hit it's bye bye really fast.
- exellent protection against guided missiles.
Reasons for such mech:
- another way to play meachwarrior. Not the same path "bigger is better"
- exellent recon mech
Sounds a bit ****.
Let the Zone of Enders/Armored Core dudes have those things.
Let Mechwarrior be Mechwarrior.

I just think it'd be so far out of step with the setting that'd it be like that guy that shows up in jeans and t-shirt to a black-tie wedding but isn't really well liked or funny. It's just gonna stick out in all the wrong ways.
In SLAI most machines carried some form of cloaking tech and it made for very nerve-wracked and exciting fights, but here? No, it's just not the setting or game for it.
