- very light armor
- nanotech auto repair function
- low power shields
- weapon load very low, or melee fists. If use fists then extra space for better support equipment.
benefits:
- very fast movements
- instant short range teleport, can repeat right after warping out, thus travel fast
- can hit enemies without being hit themselves, but if you get hit it's bye bye really fast.
- exellent protection against guided missiles.
Reasons for such mech:
- another way to play meachwarrior. Not the same path "bigger is better"
- exellent recon mech
Sorry, this would be of no interest to me.
Repair/Healing is a MASSIVE tactical advantage, despite the chassis tonnage. Teleportation is too hocus-pocus science fiction-y, IMHO. It just all sounds too genre-breaking to what I've envisioned MechWarrior to be.

LOL This person made this thread at 9:35 AM on 11-20-2011...and then logged out...never to be heard from again.
It is sad, because we will see similar issues with similar players when the game goes live.

realism (yes, our current real life tech can do those things - umm, except for the mobile repair bays) vs fantasy anytime. I understand BT/MW is Sci-fi/fantasy, but c'mon, the year 3049 does not have more effective general targeting capabilities than the 21st century (let alone the 20th?)
