I'm usually a pretty critical guy, but I think this would work. Not an exact port, but the map style would work just fine. Just make the forests so you can navigate through them, but you'd have dodge a lot of trees on the way (slowing you down, screwing up line of fire, etc).

It's like american football in a way but with tendonitus instead of cartilege depletion of the knee.
When people say competitive games or e-sports, they are directly refering to DOTA and it's offspring. I have never played a match of DOTA, but I am fully aware of it's signifigance upon the gaming world.
