I'm happy to delay our matches till 11pm AEDT but I would highly prefer to play our matches on Friday as I have other commitments on Saturday evening that I can't miss.

In either case TPL will be deploying mechs our pilots are most comfortable with rather than the meta so should be some great matches. We hate meta games, so repetitive and boring. I miss my babies.

They were good matches, thanks to everyone.

We ended up keeping going running all the same trial mech afterwards and it made the matches very interesting.

I would definitely consider an all the same trial mech comp for the future.

Edit: Forgot to mention, TPL wishes Dar1ng all the best and we hope he has a speedy recovery.

Thought about all trial events already ... problem is policing. A champion with all the skills unlocked is generally far superior to the trial champion even with the same load out.

Meanwhile, congratulations to F8L on the win and hope you all enjoyed the matches.

i do believe that having team chat present gives a very good idea of our thoughts during the moment... and how each game could have gone either way given a different set of decisions from each team

Yeah it's definitely a better watch when you can hear the team's tactical reasoning.
I would post up our videos with comms included but it's mainly just me screaming like a little girl with my music in the background (I don't play with game sounds)

Congrats to F8L on the win and to TPL for putting up a good fight in the finals bracket. Regardless of the outcome I think most people who participated (and/or spectators) will agree that the HPL is a massive success. We look forward to meeting F8L in the coming week, best of luck guys it should be good o7

Just a quick update to let you know that the final match between OMC and F8L has been postponed to next week. The match has been tentatively re-scheduled to 23:00 AEDT, 22:00 AEST, 20:00 GMT +8

Check the website for final date / time which will be posted as soon as I can get it firmed up.
