My stream delay would be at least 5 minutes if not ~10-15 for absolute certainty. Good point to raise though.

Once each group champion moves into the final round, I could do some brackets for the other 6 teams to play each other just for practice and keep participation going. If all 6 participate, the weekly scrimmages would run for 5 weeks.

Anyone interested?

I believe in the spirit of a complete round robin (without it taking three months to complete), the six remaining teams should have the option to set up matches against each other.

Also, I'm available to help host matches for any teams that don't run with premium time.

Thanks Kageru, appreciate the offer.

I'll just prep the brackets for the other 6 teams and put it up once the results from the initial round are in. Personally, I'd rather be playing something weekly regardless.

Where can we find a list of contacts for the various units competing? I'd like to liaise with the ARMD commander for our matches this week.

Update 2014/09/14

Updated OP to insert link to Season 1 Team Rosters

Team Liaisons - please remember to have your teams take screenshots of all match results and send them in to highpingersleague at gmail.com after the completion of the Challenge regardless of whether you won or lost.

Jay Z is willing, schedule permitting, to stream your matches so please contact him if you'd like him to assist with this. If you do this, please remember that you need to arrange to have one surplus person on standby to drop on with him to balance out the numbers.

Good luck, have fun and may be best mechwarrior triumph.

Edit: Forgot to mention that NGNG has kindly created a channel for us on their TS3 server (voip01.n1585.hypernia.net:9992; password: mechwarrior) so teams that want a neutral place to meet up can use. Volunteers willing to help launch matches can leave their clones in there to facilitate contact when they are online.

Its way down at the bottom though :)

Cheers. As stated I will happily use a long delay and cover game window between drops (I'll just talk, do premium time giveaways, recap and analyse the previous match in this time) so that drop decks are not revealed until the match starts. If you could let me know when the matches are happening in advance it would be very much appreciated. Also, if you have image files of your unit logo, I can put them on the stream overlay to look more official.

MercStar can have you at the closer to the top with more then one channel :) PM if you want, most of the other leagues use us as the meeting spot so I thought to share the offer.

Update:

Inserted link to public HPL Calendar. Team Liaisons, please check your PM for details and procedures to get the Calendar updated. If scrimmages have been arranged between the teams on bye, feel free to pm us with the details for insertion in the Calendar as well. Team Liaisons, please refer below for details.

Meanwhile, we are working with Deadfire who has kindly offered us the opportunity to set up a channel on the MercStar TS3 server. Will update with link and login info when it is up.

HPL Calendar Updates -

Please PM us or email highpingersleague at gmail with the details of the Challenge once both teams have set a mutually acceptable date & time. We will update the Calendar and set it up to send reminders if the Team Liaisons provide us with the relevant email addresses.

Teams that have a bye for a particular week are free to set up scrimmages with those in other groups if they so wish. We will be happy to include these in the HPL Calendar as well if the necessary details are provided.

Please also indicate if you would like Jay Z to stream your matches so that we can inform Jay Z accordingly.
