Thanks all, I'm sure it will work out fine. I'll chat to my unit on the possibility of starting our match just after the 256th/ARMD match. (also gives 13th a bit more time).

By the way, if you have unit logos send them to me and I might be able to put them on the stream (transparent background if possible). I did find some for 256th, DSA, F8L, OMC and TPL from your TS/site

Worse comes to worse, I can drop and record the match as a spectator from ARMD's side so we can have spectator views from both sides which could be edited post match.

Have the same problem as Slide in terms of uploading (will take an overnight upload) but at least it will free him to concentrate on the matches.

Gent's, great games in the matches tonight. After watching the replays and checking the rosters however, I must point out that Appogee is not on the 256th roster, and appears to be an ineligible player.

Rodel, we made the switch when we had both our reserves unavailable and our other team member have a family emergency. Our call was:
1) he had the necessary ping
2) has been an existing member of our unit since day 1.

This was a last minute thing and similar to the problem 13th had when they had to get a filler.

@mr bear Why was Appogee's name not on the roster from Day 1? FYI, the 13th was not penalized as the opposing team chose not to pursue it since the 13th didn't win any of the matches. Hence, it is not good justification for fielding an ineligible player.

Guys, this fielding of ineligible players stuff has to stop. The roster is there for a reason and there is nothing to stop teams from either postponing (with reasonable notice to the opposing team) or dropping 1 short.

Also, note that ping requirement which is STILL 215ms at this time (which can be dispensed with for marginal cases if opposing team agrees).

Administratively, I suggest that 256th concede the victory to ARMD for the third match due to the ineligible player. If ARMD & 256th cannot agree on this, I will have to initiate the Tribunal process on this matter.

Moving forward, all teams must strictly adhere to the eligibility criteria (or obtain opposing team's prior written consent for any exceptions) as all future breaches will be automatically treated as disputes regardless of whether any party initiates a formal protest.

p.s.

All teams should take this opportunity to review and update their rosters immediately and notify us of any additions. If you wish to add and field these new players next week, please get prior written OK from your opposing team.

Having gone through last week's EoM screenshots, 13th and 228th please get written prior consent from opposing teams to field players that may lead to future similar issues.

No worries, P4r4g0n. Does a TS message count as written consent? I have that for the fielding of our Japanese pilot. From our match last night we as 228th agreed that it was fine to field dtgamemaster from CSJ.

Better if it could be done via PM as someone can be added to the conversation later if it needs to be viewed but at least you guys got consent for the last match.

I think there were other options, not taken, other than simply disregarding rules. We are not playing some super important competition, though it is meant to set a trial and precedent for further possible competitions. However at the same I believe it highly unfair to ask of ARMD to make a decision one way or the other on the issue. I would request a formal decision by the administrators of the tournament.

Paragon,
I have spoken to my team captain about this.
We will not forfeit the 3rd game as that was a hard won win and App had been fielded in all 3 games. So to award the 3rd game as a win to ARMD is a mockery of 'fair play'. Since ARMD has brought it up and yes it was in violation of the rules than what I would suggest is all 3 games be declared as null and void until I can get a revised team roster again (2 of my players have pings of >800 at the moment) and the 3rd has work issues.

Mr bear, that is an even more unfair statement. If your 3rd game was hard won, what are the first two games for ARMD? In my opinion "fair play" is abiding by the rules of the tournament, as all are bound. Furthermore, it is not about being awarded a win, it is about abiding by the rules, which clearly state the conditions and consequences of said actions. If one team is allowed to freely break the rules, then why not others? Why not the player unit affiliations? Why not ping limitations? Need one claim only that it was a last minute thing, and the other players were unavailable?

In any case, I have asked for an official judgment, and I stand by that.

Guys, no further discussion needed on this issue.

Following a discussion today with mr bear and taking note of ARMD's position, I'll be initiating the Tribunal process.

ARMD will abide by what ever the tribunal decides.

Might I suggest neither ARMD or the 256th have a vote in the proceedings so as they remain impartial

Thanks Paragon
