I'm going on vacation for a few weeks, how can I freeze my premium time to not use up while I'm away?
Thanks!

Yes that would be nice, but then again do you suspend you internet, phone, electricity, etc. while you're on vacation?

They could easily make it an MC item at say 1/2 the cost of similar PT, but irreversible once activated. To get PT back on during the "vacation time" you'd have to buy PT at regular cost.
So say you were planning a Week's vacation.
PT cost for a week is 1250MC, Vacation time would cost 600MC and put your active PT on 7 day pause.
Then you come back 3 days early and you want PT, so you have to buy a 3 day at 650MC.
In this case, you would break even, but if you didn't come back early you'd come out 650MC ahead, and they get a little more of your MC.

While it would be nice if they allowed one or two times where you could halt your premium time, if only for a fixed periods of say 2 weeks, they will never do it. It's a money sink.

Depends on where the vacation is and how long you are going to be gone ... I have done it before while traveling out of the country.

Sometimes, yes, actually.

A simple "Bank remaining time" at a flat MC cost per day remaining would make more sense (and not let you bank less than a day, and round up) Heck, at 10-20 MC a day, it might be worthwhile for an extended break, but not worth milking every hour when you're not playing.

So I suppose it depends on who you get.

yes
I turn off the electricity, I have a cell phone so no need to shut it off, set up my email with automated responses, etc. when I'm going on a prolonged vacation.

You pay just as much for electricity and the phone bill even when you're not home using it? Dude you get squatters breaking into your house and live there whenever you're on vacation?

Phone bills are often the same month to month, depends on what kind of long distance plan you have.
Electricity will still cost you something if left on, but it shouldn't be very much. It might be running your water heater, and you'll have a bit of phantom load from your things you leave plugged in.
*Especially the fridge.
