As the title says, every time I hit the final button to confirm purchase of a Level 5 module skill the game closes to desktop. There are no error messages of any sort, just an abrupt exit and return to my home screen.

When I start the game back up and log in, I see that the transaction has gone through and I do have my level 5 skill now, but I'm reasonably certain that putting up with a crash to desktop is not supposed to be part of the deal.

There are two upgrade button is the UI - one right in the module badge and one over on the right under the module description. Which of the buttons are you using?

I've been using the one right on the module button and haven't had this problem.

Good question, forgot to include that.

I'm using the button that shows up on the upper right module badge once you've selected the module. Otherwise, I have to scroll back down the list every time I complete a purchase to get the next level. That could also use some fixing.

Yes, same here. Bought LVL5 med pulse module upgrade and BOOM out.

I bought modules for Large Pulse, Medium Pulse, Medium, SRM6, Large Laser, LB-10X, and AC/2.

They all crashed on 5.

Same too after i hit lvl 5 upgrade button were always display i keep pressing upgrade 2 times then crashed

anyway it was funny thanks PGI make crash people who want lvl up more than lvl 5 i respect that
