But i am afraid not.

Guess that makes MW Tactics a private corporate KPI since they are hiding that as well.

lol this thread

you can really tell who is spending too much of their life thinking about MWO and being on the forums

Ok.. this is definitely original.

No AI bots. :)

MWO is not dying and continues to grow, and PGI is dedicated to continuing to develop, add, and build upon what we have created so far. There is no end in sight for us!

Kudos for using such diplomatic language...

That said, those with half a brain already knew what you just said.

Pretty much sums up anyone who stills plays this game and thinks it's getting "better"

It really is a performance indicator, though. Why they hide it, I'm not quite sure. Either they believe they're performing poorly and don't want to upset the playerbase with doom and panic... Or they think they're doing quite well, and don't want other to decide to compete with a similar game. It doesn't have to be mechwarrior to be a customizable mech arena battle game, after all.

How pathetic is it that you spend time out of your day on something you hate? It's like willingly holding your hand on a hot stove or willingly walking on rusty razor blades.

Please add bots, because I really enjoy co-op play. Really I'd rather have that before CW.

not really. I'm busy working on my computer and it literally takes nothing to refresh a tab. Not to mention ******** all over PGI and their forums while getting people like you riled up is actually very entertaining for me.

What is completely hysterical about that (bottom of the forums) is the 5982 online. You're telling me that the most ever online is 6,000, but you have 600,000 members?! So you have 1% playing at any given time?

Reminds me of a game I use to play quite a bit. It was called Navyfield. It was a great start, but I always had issues. There was a small diehard group that supported the game and hated on detractors. Then came word of Navyfield 2, because the game was doing oh so well. Guess what was cancelled some 5 years after it was announced, because it wasn't really doing so well. Of course the base game still exists. It's possible to sustain a game like this now where all they are doing is creating pay-items recycling current material. You don't have to invest in actual content, just promise it's coming and release it slowly (eg. factions, maps, etc).

They design one mech, charge $30 per special version, and charge for early release. Rinse and repeat. Meanwhile, keep promising something new coming to keep people buying. But never deliver the actual content. It took them 12 months from the ideas about Factions to implement a second tier of squads. It's basically a second friend's list. 12 months! There is no CW coming anytime soon. It's a farce. But, BUY THE WARHORNS! Oh and more camo, because we unlocked it all. SO BUY CAMO. Just ignore the lack of coherent game play.

I believe this is forum numbers and not correctly reflecting the actual game's active player base. Appreciate the effort, but this is probably misleading.

It's certainly misleading, but you can see the forum attendance by way of member names. Which shows about 500 on any any given time, listed by name. That's not misleading. I'm sure it's possible to extrapolate the average percent of a population that participates in the forums.
