Skilled Teamwork - Pilots pay attention to what their team is shooting at and start shooting the same target. Must use mouse and keyboard to aim.

NO SKILL Teamwork - Pilots hit R and mash LRM key.

You can see the OP is a newb by suggesting the LRM boats do not use keyboard or mouse to aim. And might I add that LRM users are much more likely to focus the same target than DF weapon users.

You do realize that LRM users do target the enemy mech when they are visible, right? Especially with TAG.

Odd I use that same 3/4" box to target with my ACs, PPCs, et al. I didn't realize 3/4" was "BIG?

Wonder if this one has tried ECM, AMS, or Radar Derp.
The last LRM-QQ thread starter does not use them, but claims LRMs are OP and should be fixed.

I guess you dont care where you hit a mech. I suspect that is how the majority of the LRM supporters think.

Oh actually I use ECM mechs often and radar derp all the time. That doesn't offset the fact that LRMs are for the unskilled. It also means that new players are the most harmed by LRMs because the will not always have ECM mechs and they will not be able to spend 6 million c-bills + 18k GXP on Radar Derp.

Well I'm glad to hear that you're using the appropriate equipment, although I suppose this isn't actually an "LRM is OP" thread, so my original comment/question is pointless.

Nope. It appears to be the other typical version of the LRM thread, wherein the message is as follows:

I could make all the usual arguments about how LRMs require greater battlefield and tactical awareness than undodgeable direct-fire weapons in order to account for their slow-as-hell travel speed and the multitude of anti-missile counter systems…but frankly, I’d be wasting my keystrokes. You just can’t convince MANS that anything other than AC/20 bearhugs requires any kind of ability at all.

I like lasers, because if I spread damage, it's not wasted ammo. It's just not optimal.
