-Edit 1

And now the main reason behind this topic, group fire tutorial needs to be made or new players might accidently do this with one push of a button.

usually including a post to state what you're trying to prove is helpful

You aren't actually complaining that you can't hold your trigger down for more than 21 seconds are you?

I believe the point that Ryvucz is trying to make is that he doesn't like the heat increase on the Clan lasers.

Of course, what he doesn't show is that the very same thing he did right there, madly firing ALL TEH LAZARZ as fast as he can on chainfire, would've promptly cooked a Nova pre-heat-patch, as well. Wouldn't have taken anymuch more time than that, either. Stock Nova Primes have heat problems, this is a fact of life. I've said it before, I'll say it again - heat bumps and range cuts was about the best we could have expected from a Clan balancing perspective. I'd much rather have hotter beams with less reach than beams that take twice as long to do their thing as IS beams, and so would anyone else here who's being even remotely honest.

It's a video, to Paul with Love.

Something so simple can be interpreted in so many ways.

I will be adding a video of the same mech, but what happens if someone hits \ instead, but accident?

New player playing with a trial mech with the same load out. And since a lot of people say there is not enough information out there for weapons groups, I think it is important to make that particular information more available.

Chain fire mode, rather cold area, sustained firing with no more than two lasers at a time.

Yes, we see this, but I will show you \ on Tourmaline.

Excuse me, sir.

Have you played a Nova Prime? In any game, ever?

Even back at its introduction in tabletop, it was an EasyBake Oven that made pilot steaks. You've never been able to fire a Nova Prime's full energy alpha without hating your own life, in any BattleTech medium, ever.

We get it. Novas run hot. What's your actual point?

Did you read it all?

Stock trial Nova Prime to a new player that does not search for weapons groups, hits / or even left mouse button once, will see pain.

I know Nova's run hot, I don't even use that many lasers on any of my builds, max 6 lasers.

The first one was merely to show how quickly, even on a cold map, sustained chain fire goes. I did override simply to blow up the gold mech. Why? People like those dying, but apparently it was in bad taste somehow.

My question is if he was instigating ghost heat because of the staggered chain fire.

It was more or less to track sustained chain fire, with no more than two lasers firing at once, with the new heat.

Overridden for explosive gold.

Music because it was funny to me, but not well received.

Uploading a video of the same mech but when you press \ or left mouse button.

Chain fire lasted much longer, so it's not very bad.

However newer players do not have information as in a tutorial or hints in the UI about how to use chain fire.

And this is Paul's problem how? He didn't invent the stock configurations of the 'Mechs. He didn't really decide the trials in this instance either; as I recall the Clan trials are just what's available for purchase.

If you're arguing for better tutorials and less of a brick-cliff learning curve for new players? WELCOME TO THE REST OF US. People have only been asking for that since MWO was a thing. This is hardly the way to add your vote to that appeal, though. The man already avoids the forums like the plague because everyone in the forums insists he is a plague. If you had people threatening your job, your livelihood, and even your health and family over every decision you make ever, would you want to talk to them?

It's my opinion that he should do so anyways, but I'm also willing to let that communication be via official dev chair posts, like he already does. I do not expect nor require the man to slum around in the trenches down here with the scheissen-flingers the way Niko does, considering he's probably the single most hated individual in all of Piranha around these parts. If you figure throwing a sarcastic video his way is going to get him to break cover, you clearly don't even forum, bro.

Ehem, spamming your button in less than 0.5sec intervall is the same as groupfiring.
You just showed how fast ghost heat can push your heat.
chainfire = hold the trigger, not spamm it.
