The point of having camo is staying camoed against the same objective back ground if your with a good ECM team. Specialy those Catas and Timberwolfs. They need that added hard to lazer find that sucker if its not spamming missles way in the back. Its hard to tell which map you're going to get stuck in and picking a well balanced paturn that blends in with some of the best maps for hide and Seek tactics. I just dont see the point of having a huge Radial Star on top of my Mad Cat that I cant even see even barely in the mech bay. Plus its impossible to see ingame. The fact that the 1 and only visible star that distinguishes the "sherman" look on the Timberwolf is so blur'd it doesnt even look like a Sherman. If the Timberwolf looked a bit more like the Stalker Sherman i'd be content.

There's precisely zero point to having camos, they protect you from nothing.

mostly. but if you swap the red and black you'll find that there is a pattern on the upper right leg as well as the left, but for some reason, no matter how you arrange the colors(at least the colors intended for that camo spec), you can't see the patterns on both legs at the same time.

hopefully they fix it at some point.

Look at the text and details on the side of the CT. You can barely read the text because it's so pixelated.

Phranken looks ok to me.

.

Wow that looks rather sharp on the DW. i tested it with my TW (on medium details) and the "skull" was in such a low res that i pretty much couldn't identify what this white blob acutally is.

I thought it was because that camo was supposed to be asymmetrical? Could be wrong though.

Some more examples- the middle torso is definitely quite low res.

Yup, some 1k textures look really blurry, while the 2k ones look very good.

Question is, why have the lowres one? Less work? Performance issues with every mech having 2k textures? If the latter, why not have both and load depending on video settings?

Primes are still unable to be customised with camo patterns. Gonna wait for that.

That will never happen, we don't have camo patterns for founders, phoenix and hero mechs either.

There's way, way too much bare metal showing when a camo is applied to a clan mech!!! The weapon pod and omni-pod sections need to be covered by the camo!!!

I would buy cammo patterns if I could change the patterns on the Primes and Hero mechs.

The Timber Wolf should have gotten a camo that provided the classic checkerboard pattern on its shins/thighs. The Applejack pattern places a small checkerboard in various locations on the different clan mechs but inexplicably not on the TW, WH or DW shins where it most belongs according to lore.

Best Kit Fox paint scheme ever.
Also, Looking at Sherman on my Timber Wolf, the positioning of that CT star is amazing XD

Is it me, or does that look like an Evil maleficent smile? A demonic visage!

Camos and paintjobs are so very inconsisten between mechs. Look at Hellslinger, that paintjob/camo looks amazing! Where is that shine on other IS mechs PGI?

P.S
Phranken camo on Whale made me come. Thanks for making me poor, guys!

You mean the invasion (I) special mechs? They never will. Just like (P) Phoenix mechs.

.............................

"well done"???

Look at it... Looks how low res it is... How can you call that well done...

For the amount of money people pay for camo, it should be top notch quality with text that does not look like it was made in kid pix.

The second colour on the Snowfall is gradient, you need to have 2 contrast colour to make it pop.
