So I've mastered my Jagers, and I'm in love with my Firebrand.
I've been experimenting with some mechs - I love the Cataphract 3D with 2 gauss - it's very powerful. I like the Shadowhawk 2H with triple AC2's.
Can anyone recommend anything that is similar to the Jager? I have the Blackjack 1 but have not tried it yet. I am interested in the Raven for a different style of play as well. Is the Huggin any good?

Hard to say. Cataphracts bring multiple ballistics as well but they do so in low-slung arms not suited to "hull down" firing that Jagers excel at. CTFs do offer more total tonnage and JJ on some variants though.
Blackjack can certainly be a mini Jager trading in less firepower for more agility and come with very high arms. I love my 2 PPC blackjack and AC20 BJs can kick some serious butt too.
For a change of pace, an ECM light can be really fun. Kit Foxes do a lot of the things a Raven does and you can bring an ecm on all of them compared to only one Raven variant

the Catapult CPLT-K2 can mount a similar load out to the Jagermech, but the ballistics will be in the torsos with energy in the arms and torsos, the Catapult has a large easy to hit front center torso and small hard to hit side torsos making it much less likely to die from loosing a side torso than the JM6 if you mount an XL engine
the Cataphract CFT-3D, CFT-4X (4 b, 2e) and CFT-IM (hero, 3b, 3e) all have space for at least 2 ballistics and some energy weapons as backup, but the balistics are low mounted
the Blackjack BJ-1, BJ-1dc and Arrow hero Mech all have Jagermech style hard points, with high mounted arms

The Catapult K2 is very similar to the Firebrand in terms of load out and play style, but the other 'pults, not so much.
The Blackjacks are essentially baby Jagers, and solid performers in their own right. You've already mentioned cataphracts and shadowhawks, though personally I would recommend a Hunchback over the shadowhawk.

If you want to go heavier, the Stalker fits the bill. It's very durable and has all its hardpoints mouted high.
If you prefer the Firebrand for it's Ballistics, rather than feel, the BlackJack is a lighter version that offers Jump Jets.

Similar loadouts?
The Catapult K2 or the Ilya Cataphrat both can make similar builds, as can the Cataphrat 4X.
Similar playstyles? Blackjacks can be similar, though they're more fragile and pack less firepower. Stalkers load up on weapons and have high mount points, so they might fit what you want as well.
What would I recommend?
Depends:
Lights - Jenners, Ravens, or Firestarters are your top lights, and they all play a bit differently.
Mediums - Blackjack might fit what you want. Shadowhawks can play with Balistics pretty well, as can Hunchies. Hunchies might be close to the Jager playstyle.
Heavies - Catapults for the K2, or Cataphrats for the 3D, 4X, and Ilya (the 1X and 2X aren't bad either).
Assaults - Stalkers are the closest to the Jager's "Weapon Platform" mentality.

People aren't fans of the Huginn because of the 100% ammunition reliance. It could have used a CT laser. Much like the Oxide.
You can easily run twin AC/5s in a Huginn but ammo is kinda limited and the speed will feel like a 35 ton semi-fast Jager.
Twin AC/2s are much easier to maintain. The mounts are higher than your vision so they shoot over walls pretty well.
What you can do is sport an AC/2 or AC/5 + some LRMs or SRMs or Streaks for either extra range punch or to take down enemies when they get too close. I prefer AC/5 and Streaks because lights are a pain.
AC/20 + 3 tons of ammo + jumpjets is pretty easy too.
Try the Raven 4X. If you like it, the Huginn is very similar.
Remember 1 to 2 armor on the rear, everything else on the front. Ravens benefit from similar torso designs to Clan mechs, except the skinny yet long frame and intersections of the hitboxes are fantastic for spreading damage, with such tiny rears that it's hard to hit them with MGs at 20 meters on a stationary target.
Sadly legs are gigantic.

If you like using a Shadowhawk with 3xAC/2, then you might also enjoy a using a Banshee (BNC-3E) with 3xAC/5. I use to run a build that carried that along with three ERLL! It was a blast. =D
Edit: I believed that this is what I used

Not mentioned so far, the Battlemasters have very high mounted energy weapons on their side torsos. The 1G, 3M, and 3S has six of them, and the 1D and 1S have four of them. I don't know if you'd like high mounted energy slots or not, but its available, and I've seen people do pretty well with Large Lasers mounted up there like that. I can't really recommend for or against the Battlemaster chassis as a whole myself though, since I'm only familiarizing myself with mine quite recently. They've got the high weapon mounts, but the arms are really low slung, so it could end up being a bad fit for you.
