2 years ago I started with MW:O.
I quit, because gameplay an content always has been month apart as promised.
This new steps (Transvers, seperate from IGP, CW-promises (again)) are: what?
And whatfor?

He stated that CW is the last remaining MAIN feature of the ORIGINAL VISION to be delivered, not that its over and done with once they put CW in place, there is quite a difference.
Role Warfare and mech/pilot trees are nowhere near the original vision...

I love my MechWarrior, ive been waiting and praying for the day it came back. and other than most of the constant bitching on the forums, ive been happy with it, I don't want to see it go. it could have been a lot different, every game ever made gave the path to to success in some way,
startrek online (have our own personal lance for solo mission w/ character creation with different attributes like one better scouting, one better aim, one better at laser/ammo weapons and so forth and skill them up if we wanted too) missions wouldn't have to be crazy just simple rewards, could be colors/designs/maybe a salvage mech to repair(like the old days) and even sell on auction house if we didn't want them. the mission would also serve as faction points that would allow us to purchase better mechs, weapons,
Swtor (give us a ship to fly around in, from place to place, keeps all our mechs there, with repair bays, (our own crew could fix them) we could have blue prints to build older mechs for loot, change the color of lasers, put parts of mechs with other mechs, create our own crazy stuff even if once destroyed, its gone forever.
jumpgate - (this game is as old as MechWarrior btw) missions give a % in where salvage or a win in pvp would go to the new mechs made for that faction they were in, and factories would need resources to keep making the mechs, so there was a reason to help your faction better itself and keep playing and playing, solo or pvp,
wow - every 36 hours, an all out war, IS on IS, Clan on Clan, 25 each team or something, big ass map, any mode you want, whoever wins get a resource buff til the next one.
there is so much that mwo could have been, their was just no vision beyond kill each other.
now
this new game looks and reminds me of jumpgate, jumpgate was one of the best games ever made til the devs came in and ****** with us and it died. it was player based, space sim shooter, the community took it over and it still exsist 15 years later, you made your role, it was squad on squad war, faction on faction, we had peace packs, war packs, kill on site, hunting parties to get really bad people that obeyed no law, fighting squads protected peaceful squads, escorts for ships that could not defend themselves, wars started because a big ship bump into another ship in the docking tubes, it was complete drama and it was amazing, so if this new game is like that, im all in, so look it devs, JUMPGATE, the idea was solid, but remember you cant fix people that can not aim, so don't try to please them.

I'm... uh... sort of mystified about all of this. If this was all the further you intended to go with MWO -which is NOT borne out by previous blogs, vlogs, and countless posts on these very forums-, why in the hell didn't you just leave it all with the guys that were making Living Legends? Jesus, at least they were coming up with something good, something with depth.
AUTE/P2 can hang for all I care, I won't be playing it, just like I won't be playing Star Citizen, or most other MMOs that have come out, or are due to come out. I gives two damns about playing a game like that, and I'm wondering why in the hell you're not developing the rest of the BattleTech universe as an MMORPG rather than going with another sci-fi space sim?
Okay, great, so MWO is going to continue in development, though after CW PA is released there's nothing in mind beyond that, right? New 'Mechs, maps, modes, maybe a little somethin'-somethin' to keep those of us with disposable cash, an indisposable love for BattleTech, and perhaps a strong liking for this game, to keep buying and moving along on?
I was so hoping for some real depth to this game, something more than has been presented before, mechanics-wise, in MechWarrior games. I need a road map of what you guys intend to do, because otherwise I'm afraid my heart is breaking over this ridiculous news.
