So, listening to the Town Hall hosted by Russ, he brought up that after Community Warfare is out the door, the team will have to take a serious consideration about a single-player addition to the game. He mentioned it having been years since a single-player installment, so by the sounds of it, he thinks that both a standalone title or a MWO-based mode are possible.

Polls are included, honest answers everyone. Results of this question in the long term may affect the future course for MWO, so try to make your voice count

Personally, I would love to see any sort of co-op available in Mechwarrior Online. It would allow me to play with my significant other, as she will not play PvP. I also prefer PvE to PvP, so having a PvE game mode would be very appealing for myself.

I would *LOVE* coop PvE content. Love it.

I hate PvP. I love MWO, but it's the ONLY PvP game I play. Mostly because I really hate how PvP online communities get. I love playing with other players, though, particularly when I can do it with a group of friends (and thus non-*******)

i am not interested in any kind of separate PVE experience for at least 2+ years of expanded CW content
i would rather see AI added to the game as it currently stands
tanks and infantry and planes and dropships ect fighting for the players
see these fine posts

Infantry
Tanks

both of these things added to the field would make mechs feel like they are the major dominant force in the universe
AND help fill out the battlefield making each match look like its part of a much larger war instead of the current feel that is more akin to a backwater world border skirmish

Well, the Devs could go take a look at how Star Conflict is doing its PvE mode. That one is implemented very well. However, a proper storyline (about the time of the Clan invasion) would be cool as well. It would add backstory to the game. But it does require non-'Mech units and/or AI.

A standalone PVE should have salvage and a market similar to mercenaries.

I would like some kind of standalone PVE story arc. Just because it would be nice to enjoy some no pressure mech action.

As well as some kind of lance persistence co-op campaign with in MWO.
One story arc 'owner' + up to 3 buddies (or 4 for clans) kinda like Diablo3
Persistence equipment, battle repairs, salvage etc.
Maybe releasing new campaigns (chapters) for MC's
Short and long campaigns (price according to length)

All depends on how good the AI is and how interesting the campaigns are tbh
