You should probably buy a package from Transverse to help that game. The MC purchase will help MWO, which we appreciate.

This.

I have already pledged for Star Citizen so I will probably not invest in Transverse. Still it looks like an interesting game on it's own for sure. And as a Spacegame fan I can only applaud another game being made beside Star Citizen and Elite Dangeous.

yes yes yes I joined at the last minute. I didn't know anything in October 2012. Had I joined in June or July 2012, I guarantee that I would have bought a founders package.

You could buy clan pack.

i posted in another thread i created that appears to have been deleted but

None, Trying to get people to pledge 1 mil on a new game when they have yet to deliver on their main promise for MWO is just a stupid idea

if they had waited to announce until after they released CW (or maybe the day of) then yes id probably pledge to it im sure many would. But trying to ask for pledges now just seems insulting to me.

Yeah, I'm in with the Zero Crowd here.

Not interested in a space sim MMO thingy, and even if I was, there's at least two games out there I'd rather put my money into (SC and E:D).

That was money that went to IGP (no longer in the picture).

Read Russ's FAQ. MWO money stays in MWO. (outside of, you know, some overlap such as personel, servers, facilities and such that can't be avoided).

Well IF igp is no longer in the picture, out of curiosity, what will happen to our founders purchases for MW tactics?
I mean, IGP no longer has the right to make/sell Battletech games right?

Why not? PGI bought back the publishing rights for MWO, as far as we know IGP still has every right to make and sell MT - although they seem to be lacking a developer for almost a year, and the game seems down, and ... well, it's not looking good for your founder money.

Im really wanting to buy a founders pack for transverse because it is based on one of my favorite space games (Tachyon the fringe) by Novalogic best space game I think I ever played. But I have hesitations because of MWO.

Here's the way the government does it with Lottery money for our schools. The lottery ticket purchase proceeds do in fact go into the budget for the schools. The problem is that it displaces money into the general fund, rather than add to the money already in the school budget. So 6, half dozen, or the other; money that would have been focused on MWO will be displaced into Tranny one way or another.

I feel like PGI is abandoning us. Taking resources away from finishing MWO CW before it is active is terribly insulting to the amount of money I have spent on this game in hopes that it would become the game I want to play.

resources such as programmers and time.

Meh, till it's funded at least I'm guessing it's a separate bucked, and the only things that cross over are some staff and facilities.

So, if you want to help the game, buy me the $240 package :)

I came to MWO for a mechwarrior simulator game ... oh Razor thingy-a-mah-jiggy that got scrapped for keyboard and mouse play. PGI needs to get CW in and make me happy if they want my money.

Oh well, just like Russ said for the 3rd time ... CW in 90 days.

Chinese Star Citizen knockoff

correction, Star Citizen/Eve/Star Conflict knockoff using the MW:O engine (cuz space ships don't need to step over things)

E:D is Elite: Dangerous.

Dreadnought is something entirely different, and looks to be a game similar to MWO but with classes of capital ships rather than insignificant tiny ships.

PGI's two "Signature" ships shown in their blatant ripoff of Star Citizen are an almost exact copy of Robert Space Industries Cutlass Design and the Four Horsemans Next Great Starship Winning design The Redeemer. PGI saw how successful RSI was with their player backed support and just want an easy payday. So PGI doesn't get a penny from me ever again. The amount of lying and underhanded crap that they have pulled makes me regret ever backing them in the first place. So, I have the Mechs I wanted, watered down as they are. I'll play those till the game dies or until Star Citizen launches which ever comes first.

historically it seems PGI has a hard time delivering on any game, and that worries me. Lots of links on reddit etc.
I'm sitting on my money for now in the belief the end is neigh, I'll play daily too- just cautious
as simple as the server move promised to be better...and its pretty close to the same?
the never ending 'map soon' etc. love the game, worried about its longevity
