I've just loaded up on enough schadenfreude to last me a full year. Thanks PGI!

Still waiting on my Founder's refund by the way.

That thread is mind boggling to me since I never played tabletop. Pretty cool to see what goes on tho.

It's def worth a look if any of you others have an SA account. Poptart's a p. cool duder.

That thread is here, http://forums.someth...hreadid=3383329 by the way, and you shouldn't need an account just to read it. The forum is blocked for free viewers on occasion, but generally you can see it.

As a plus, if anyone is interested in the tabletop but are having trouble penetrating the rules, this thread helped me identify what I was doing wrong and gave me essentially step-by-step instructions of gameplay just going through the updates.

Nope MW:LL was forced to shut down because of the acquisition of the MW licence. The more you know!™

Yeah and IF we had all of us, spend the money, we gave PGI, instead to the LL team, to aquire the license, then thing by chance would have been different, i mean, how MUCH money did flow towards Pgi? Millions?

Posting to show my stance with the other founders.

You should have read the rules, Niko, in the end, you decided to be heavy-handed against anyone questioning the Dear Leader's unerring ways. Sometimes a little honesty in the face of stupidity is the only cure for failings.

Edit:

5 million or more just from Founders packs.

Oh the hilarity. If only I could feel pity for you... but I can't.

Your blantant attempt to jump on the spacegame bandwagon brings a tear of laughter to my eye. You clearly don't understand why people ever gave you money for MWO, so you think that people must LIKE you. The community that supported MWO originally now hates you, and the spacegame fans know not to trust your promises... and already have promises, and playable stuff, for two separate games.

Had you actually ever attempted to meet your promises rather than run an insane cashgrab, you MIGHT have gotten this to work. But no. This will be your one and only game until you finally admit defeat and shut the company down. Enjoy your mediocrity while you can.

I have been lurking the forums for awhile. I got frustrated and tired of what the game had become. The depth that we started with, instead of broadening, kept getting filled in with cheap solutions. It is sad that I spent far more money on this game than I have on any other single game to date, I learned not to trust what people say. So I guess I got something from PGI.

This franchise could have had something amazing, instead we have this lack of depth or character.

Wow, all these founders,Phoenix, and clan pack badges. Indications that these people have been devoted supporters of mwo. To me that carries a lot of weight. To pgi however....

I just want to salute any of you golds who are active players and/or posters on this board. Obviously everyone here is risking their accounts.

Normally I have nothing but disdain for you guys. You gave them way too much money after they had started to lie and fail to deliver. Then you kept giving them money while they kept singing the same "3 months away" tune.

But to any of you golds, who didn't buy the clan mech grab deal (at that point I can't believe you didn't know better). I tip my virtual hat for you posting here. Its a warning and a wake up call that its hard to imagine the PGI we've come to know over the years will heed. But you all did your best in this thread.

I'm sure many people will get banned slowly in the coming weeks for this thread because it would be even more PR disaster to ban everyone now.

Special shout out to DV McKenna who put his neck out there first and said the right things in the right tone about why this reddit fiasco is nobodys fault but PGI themselves.

I think we're going to see more backpedaling here than when CCP bungled their ****. Everyone thought CCP was going to go under, people unsubbed like crazy ... then their CEO stepped down and now the game is the best it's ever been thanks to backpedaling and a new vision. I hope that happens here in some form or another.

If not, well lol. It's dead

I don't really have anything to add other than to throw my voice in with those saying "bad form PGI".

I'm absolutely floored with how this community has been treated.

You need to be smarter about hijacking reddit.

Instead of three mods who clearly work for PGI (per their tags), you should have used alts and pretended it was not a shill platforrn. Or got the NGNG guys to pretend to be impartial. Instead, you obviously broke reddit rules by trying to control free discussions.

This really is like a reunion, so many names I remember from the closed beta days. Back when Paul would drop with us regularly and show us the unreleased mechs ahead of time, or when Garth would hang out and be a sociable community manager instilling goodwill with all the groups.

Niko please do the right thing, it would be a shame to lose the good will that was just gained through the townhall over all of this.

Hey MechFans!

You may have heard the amusing news that we have been shadow-banned from Reddit. We're looking to get the situation fixed as soon as possible.

The issue in question stems from the fact that we had created a sub-reddit for r/Transverse in order to pre-empt any possible recreation of the events which occurred leading to the creation of r/OutreachHPG following the take-over of r/mwo. We also have some indications as to which group of players may be responsible. The shadow-ban did not stop at r/Transverse related staff. All PGI Staff have been banned and will be unable to address any concerns raised by players on OutreachHPG as a result.

Hey yeah, about your eagerness to drop blame here, you've got someone else on Twitter claiming responsibility. So good job for that, that's excellent community moderation right there, blasting out that blame shotgun just because a guy said "You're welcome".

https://twitter.com/...789548042145792

You know, someone noticed earlier that I was a Legendary Founder who had just made his second post (now third). This **** is why. This is some mighty damn toxic forum moderation here. And I've been happy to point that out to folks who asked me about MWO. Did I pony up for founders? Yeah. Worth it? Not at all. And stay away from the forums man.

I'll take that bet, but I'll give you the $10 by registering an SA account for you so you can be part of the suit.

Sometimes when I play Titanfall I play as an Ogre Titan w/ a 40mm and wax nostalgic about piloting an Atlas dropping AC/20 into people's cockpits as I aim for their critical spots and soak up shots.

I don't have to worry about Ghost Heat tho anymore, so it's better.
