Also, this is not the first case when PGI has abused the banhammer. Now, I'm no longer directly associated with any group since I quit playing this game some time ago, but over my "career" as a "mechwarrior" I have read a lot of complaints from Kong members about PGI handing out soft and hard buns left and right for stuff like "spreading dissent" inside and even "outside" the forums. Now, I'm not really familiar with the Goon community (apart from participating in some emotional in-game banter with their members), but I can only assume that they must have suffered the same treatment, since I cannot picture the Goons being tamer than Kong in this regard.

Anyway, I hate being so blunt, but the moral of this whole story is: "Live by the sword - die by the sword". Or the hammer, as in this case.

Don't worry about it. Its kind of a thing of mine every time someone mentions me they seem to miss the B. I think because they think it's Comppro and then B237 ?

Anyway, I've enjoyed trying to keep up with this thread. It cut in to my time sleeping before another 10-hour shift.

I figure this 1-finger salute is on behalf of every person PGI called an ISLANDER, and for all of my friends at DHB who I cared about who left this game because of your arrogance, your stupidity and your greed.
Oh a side note, I'm still waiting for my refund since you cannot honor your past agreements when you originally founded this game, and I am still expecting a refund. And you banning me from the Transverse forums...don't think that's going to stop me from being around every corner and telling people everywhere that will listen to not invest in PGI ever again.

Pgi has failed.
Failed at making MWO into a real and good game
Failed at listening to the fans of the MW franchise
Failed at copying a space game that has actually had thought put into it.
Failed at every turn.

Bryan Ekman and Nikolai Lubkiewicz you had best hide yourselfs. you have failed at making a game that you had handed to you on a plate! Everything you wanted was in the lore and older games. No offense to anyone who is a hard worker there but I think PGI should burn and you guys should NEVER get another job working in the software industy.

On a side note, if you cant find a job I have a landscaping business that I run. I could use a couple workers to dig holes and do basic unthinking labor. I think you are both perfect for that.

Let me know if you are interested in a job. I can at least be magnanimous after you guys horribly fail.

Since it's a founder's reunion thread, I will post again.

Regarding the OP : you got what you deserved, I'm just dismayed that it took so long to happen, and that it has not opened your eyes to reality : you can't expect to bully a community for long, without consequences.

Keep the PR running, I almost died laughing when I saw that Russ considers MWO "feature complete". Of the pillars promised, you only delivered "mech warfare", in a state that does not even qualify for a Beta level.

Side note :I played back a few games out of nostalgia, and I am amazed how bad is the current UI (took me 15 minutes to find back all my modules, working mechs...). The combat has devolved in no movement at all (thanks to the spawn point being closer). the necessity of ECM and that new module to dissapear is staggering, and the overall balance is totally out of whack. Closed Beta was much more fun than what you have now.

Hello, my name is Dimachaerus.

I have been playing mechwarrior on the PC since Crescent Hawks Inception back in the days of true "pew-pew" laser beams.
I am shamefully a founder, I was also on the MW:LL team as an Alpha tester.

I purchased the founder package because I saw this as a more "SIM-ish" version of Mechwarrior, something I had been craving ever since our first taste in MW:3. It didn't have the full combined arms play that MW:LL had, which I miss, but thats okay, mechs actually starting up, seeing my mechwarrior push buttons and ****, the graphics... it was all so Great! I could pick which flavor of Battletech awesomeness i wanted for the day, and life was golden.

Then you shut us (MW:LL) down.
I still had some faith, much to the chagrin of my former team-mates.
Then it was 60 days... 90 days... 60 more days, 90 more days.
"FULL launch!"... "No seriously, this time LAUNCH for real!"
Ghost heat, 3pv, poor balance decisions.
You never did actually fully provide any of the "Four pillars" in anything but the most perfunctory and botched ways.
Add in how you shat upon "your" community, lied, lied, lied again, and threw in some more lies for filler...
Now you try to mollify us by rushing out that "We're really actually for real working on REAL genuine 100% true Community warfare this time guys, REALLY really, pinky swear, this time!"
