Aight I'm gonna chime in one more time, and say what several others have said but without the sarcasm.

I'm a goon. We're not malicious, we're just idiots. I'm confident, both in how many other goons I see with founders tags, and in my own stupid flag of shame, that goons aren't and haven't tried to destroy this game. Just seeing all these founders chime in and voice their disappointment and disgust should deter any of the impending whining about being flooded with spam. We are not spam. We are not trolls. We are paying customers. Just look at all these pissed-off Founders.

If you want this boat to float, you know exactly what the community wants. CW, Ghost Heat removal, communication without passive-aggressive snarkiness, and an apology. Unlike several others in the thread, I am optimistic.

Not for Transverse, that pile of garbage is going nowhere.

But for MWO. You know what needs to happen and you can make fat stacks if you drop your ego and listen and appreciate your fanbase.

So things that would help rebuild trust:
  • Getting rid of ghost heat
  • Getting rid of jump jet shake
  • Getting rid of gauss delay
  • Getting rid of the smug attitude towards your player base
  • Getting rid of Niko
  • A ******* real apology
Edit:

I looked over my credit history in my profile and supposedly I have spent over 300 dollars on this game in 2012-2013 until ghost heat was introduced. I just feel violated now, both by myself and PGI.

Some of that's okay, but screw going back to the poptart meta days, that **** was so boring even during it. Wanna play all snipers all the time bunnyhopping? CS:GO is on Steam.

I just want to add my two cents. PGI thinks this is a small band of renegades looking to sink them. This is obviously not the case. At this point you are making news all over the planet with your PR blunders, money grabbing and lies. When you anger a player base this much, this is what happens. I agree that a few of the most outspoken have multiple accounts making your life extra miserable. But it takes a large amount of people VERY angry to make this much noise. You had a golden opportunity to make a great game with an large player base with expendable income, and you wasted everything but over promising, and out right lying about what you were doing. Everyone knows your past shovelware games under Jarhead. Sadly, you will never fix this. You have totally pissed off the internet at this point. No one trusts you. The new game will be a disaster regardless. Perhaps it's time to pack it up and just go home. You are fighting a battle you cannot win. PS> Thanks for banning me on Facebook just for voicing my opinion in a non threatening manner. I'll never give you another dime of my money.

The PPC slow down helps a lot, I'm fine with that. They made other changes to jump jets. In closed beta the jump jets had no shake and they still completely sucked ass.

They just swatted down Poptart Meta v2 recently. They made it so you only get shake jumping up, so people would jump to full height, start falling and fire. So actually jump shake could go away, since you now have jumpjet heat and meaningful damage from falls.

I really wish that PGI would own up to its mistakes instead of blaming others.

They also should have tried to win back the hearts and minds of /r/mwo instead of either ignoring that they exist by making /r/outreachhpg or blaming them for all of the current problems.

Instead of listening to your founders and treating them well, PGI has created a fan base that openly hates them. The founders can fix this game if you ask us how. You only have to listen and deliver the game and user experience that we deserve. Player feedback is important. You shouldn't ignore it. If you don't agree with it, tell us why not. Don't just delete comments and ban people who speak out. I won't change anyone's mind about the game based on what I say. You have to change their minds based on your actions.

Actions speak louder than words and right now even your most stalwart supporters such as myself are losing faith. Please don't give up on us.

You should be... you should be ANGRY because they blew away a big portion of the community that could have been your teammates or opponents in a damn great game instead of what you have now.

You never saw the days of the closed beta back then when we had our first community TS and people were holding classes to teach people proper Assault driving and scouts how to properly paint targets for their LRM boats. It was a high spirit. All gone.

Sounds like it was a great beta. I'm sad I missed it...course I would have had to spend money...

Ghost heat was a terrible idea.

Also it was more fun with 8v8 and HSR I'm not keen on because lights die too fast. If you won't let us pick a map at least let us exclude two.

You have Elite and Star Citizen on the horizon, time is running out to wake up.

Believe me, I don't want to see a return to the ALL SNIPING ALL THE TIME meta, but there are better ways than jump jet shake.

This x1000...

Also if you want a space faring game? Fix and expand MW:O into space, have battles raging on planets and the ability to travel planet to planet and dop into action in your clan/factions dropship... done right it would easily rival anything E:D or SC is going to be.

Hi fellow founders that also no longer play /wave

If the 'town hall' is to be believed, Niko was supposed to be putting up a poll to see if we wanted to lose game mode selection and in its place essentially put in a game mode 'vote' system that would also include a map vote as well.
