It's time to remove the NDA

It's plain to see that the game is going to live up to what (little) hype has been made about it, but a lot of folks are still hesitant to buy anything until they have a chance to see a lot more of what the game has to offer.
At this point the NDA is more of a hindrance to the initial success of this game than a help in controlling rampant over-expectation - let loose the dogs, drop some gameplay videos, give us the 911 on mech stats.
An informed potential customer quickly becomes and valued consumer if they have the information they need to make a decision - get rid of the NDA and let people talk about the game without worrying about getting the ban-hammer and you will see thousands of new Founder's purchases and the success of the game assured.

Or you could let the devs just do their thing

If you are not comfortable with spending money upfront, dont do it.

I am willing to support this game as seen by my founder's tag, but I know many people are hestitating to put their money down simply because the info on the game has such a tight clamp on it.
We, as customers and potential customers, are allowed to have different opinions on the game and its marketing than the developer and/or publisher does. The publisher is fairly new, so it's understandable they are taking a conservative approach to releasing information, but I think they are being too conservative.

You are absolutely correct, which is why the devs aren't getting my money. Until I can make an INFORMED decision (which oddly enough includes actual information) then I won't be spending a dime. Ooh, what's that? Planetside 2 is dishing out all sorts of information and actually talking about the game and showing in-game footage? That's interesting...almost like they have some sort of advertising plan to generate interest.

Read it please. Its from yesterday...
One more thing to comment on: the point of wanting to see the game before spending money has been argued to worlds end already. It has an easy solution: wait til its open Beta, try the game, then decide. Wheres the Problem ?

Let the devs do what they think is best, and don't buy a package if you're not comfortable with it. No offense meant, but given the amount of people who bought within the 1st day, I'd say they're not especially hurting for dough at the moment.
They've done good by word-of-mouth advertising thus far. I think they have a plan of attack they're sticking to as best they can.
EDIT: If they didn't feel strongly about the NDA, it would be dropped by now.
